Several posts today (on the old thread !!!!) following the announcement that the BU's will be in The Junior Cup this year.
It's a big YAHOO from me as it will (hopefully) mean some extra games........and for me that's the bottom line on should we/shouldn't we.
Hopefully other LL and East Clubs will fancy it as well.

I was not there but I spoke to someone who was. In short they couldn't get volunteers for a committee.
It had been a well run bus over the years thanks to the hard work and efforts of the previous committee members. A big Thank You to them all.

I reckon £10 will be fairly typical across the Lowland League. BU's were £8 last season but I reckon they will be bumping it to a tenner for this season.

The BU's started their preseason training yesterday according to their Facebook page. Teasing us that announcements regarding new signings are coming.
Less than 3 weeks until our first friendly. Cannot wait.......its been too long.

The manager can only do so much with the calibre of players that are currently available. He sets up the formation and gives basic instructions but tactically there's a limit on what he can do.
The back 5 were 10 yards too deep. Our middle 4 were in a line too far from our defence trying to block passes down the middle of the pitch. Was it Clarke's intention to encourage the Germans to play down the sides of our midfield ?.....if it was then that is bonkers.

Rosey, we are all hungry for news about our teams but June for most fans at this level and below is a time of famine. There is the odd crumb of news but until the friendlies start we all have to get by on speculation and rumour.

KO time for Darvel game is 3pm on BU Twitter but 2pm on the website I have been looking at for friendly fixtures. Best check again closer to the date.

The fixtures so far are all Saturdays and Tuesdays. Only the Darvel game is AWAY:-
6th July at 130 Clydebank (4th in WoS Premier)
9th July at 745 Tynecastle (10th in EoS Premier)
13th July at 130 Pollok (5th in WoS Premier)
16th July at 730 Armadale Thistle (4th in EoS League 2)
20th July at 2pm AWAY to Darvel (3rd in WoS Premier).
Lowland League starts 27 July.
Getting my excuse in early !! Clydebank are playing friendlies on Saturday 29 June and Tuesday 2 July so expect them to look sharper than us in the opener !!
