The LL clubs could vote to change the rules to increase the number but any changes need approved by the SFA board.
Been posted before that SFA have said it won't increase from 16.
I think the SFA worry that another 2 votes in the LL could cause them issues down the line.

Entry should be based on league position. The Old Pals act is wrong.

I am sure that our back up goalie Jack Ruddy is signed on for next season.
Having said that would still expect the BU's to get another keeper for next season.

Starting point would be :-
1) Club 42 automatically relegated.
2) HL/LL playoff winner promoted to League 2.
3) East and West tier 6 champions both promoted.
4) SoSFL needs to drop into somewhere in the WoSFL structure.
Of course there are other suggestions which are fully justified but the above would be a starting point.

Porteous for me drifts in and out of games too often. There IS a player in there. He has the touch, the strength, the skill, the finish and a few tricks ............... he just needs to work harder during games.

Clearly the EK hoormasters are up for splashing silly amounts of cash next season to attract more mercenaries to stroll the Lowland League and get into another playoff v Club 42.

The 16 club rule was extended to 16+2 guests when the Old Firm B's came in as guests, then 16+3 when Hearts B joined as a 3rd guest.
Hearts B and Celtic B will be in the Lowland League for seasons 24/25 and 25/26. There was an extension option for their participation in 26/27 but I don't know what the process/criteria for that option is.
