    The word on the terraces on Saturday was that it had been ruled out, as had Grangemouth stadium and the BU's were looking at using an ex-junior ground for their home fixtures during the Newtown Park development.

    With only 7 league games to go the BU's are now well placed to secure a top 5 finish. Looking at the fixtures remaining I am confident the 3 sides battling it out for 2, 3and 4 will be BU, Tranent and Dundonald. 5th place will be a fight to the finish between Crossgates, Sauchie, Dalkeith and Lothian Thistle.

    I think we can all agree several of the current BU team are getting on in years and will probably retire/leave at the end of the season. Several names for next season are getting mentioned but until players are signed it's not worth getting excited about.
