Sounds like there's no injury so it's not a big money claim they are fighting over. In that case Plan A for insurance companies is refuse to pay out. Plan B is to try and get the other insurance company to split liability. Plan C is to drag negotiations out and force the other side to raise a court action before it's time barred. I can as good as guarantee that your case will never go to proof in the Sheriff Court and it will be settled. Insurance companies hate paying lawyers more than they hate paying claims.
