Reading the report on Scotland schoolboys v Patrick Thistle youngsters Tiwi Deramola appears to have had a cracking game. Heard on Saturday that he is only on loan to the BU's until end of January. Hopefully his parent club can be persuaded to let him stay until the end of the season.

Perhaps a Viagra overdose as he tries to keep up with his 30 year old girlfriend.

The Chinese have already secured a lot of assets and trade deals in Africa. They announced a further 60 billion US dollars of investment only a few months ago. The UK cannot compete with that level of investment.

Half way through our league campaign and we are on target for that top 5 finish. BU v Dundonald Bluebell on Saturday at Newtown Park will hopefully be a more enjoyable experience for the BU faithful.

It was a committee man who when asked by a raging supporter why Snowdon wasn't playing made the reference to a plastic pitch. Made no sense at all to anyone. I wonder if the management staff are fed up with players picking and choosing the games they play in.

Snowdon refuses to play 90mins on plastic pitches as it knackers his joints for the following week.

I presumed that wee Dev wasn't fully fit. Why else would you pick a transfer listed player ahead of a regular.

0-0 FT. Thank feck the referee has blown the whistle and brought that game to an end. Dreadful watching. Tynecastle keeper had a good save from a Hunter header in 93 minutes and that was the total sum of the BU's efforts. Struggling to think of a MOTM to be honest. Tynecastle set up to keep a clean sheet and the BU's didn't have the guile or drive to break it down.

I enjoyed watching him play for us last season. Higher up the park the better IMO. He doesn't have the defensive strength of say a Gemmell or Donnelly but he gives a bit extra pace and penetration going forward. Welcome back Ryan.

This doesn't answer the priority question but sets out the background. The NPA had from the outset made it clear that Newtown Park would remain the home of the local professional football team. This was repeated in a later Facebook posting when they expanded it to "home of the local professional football team and be used by Boness United Community Football Club and the people of Bo'ness". Personally I think the more teams playing football at Newtown Park the better.

Since mid September it's been 3 games at Newtown Park and 11 away games. Boo !!

£1k is not unreasonable if you throw in an all you can eat deal at the pie hut.

The only credible gossip I have heard in the last 8 weeks was that Linlithgow Thistle were planning on playing at Newtown Park next season as Bo'ness Juniors. That possible development wouldn't require a BUFC meeting IMO. Perhaps the meeting is to get input on where our games are to be played during the period when Newtown Park is being developed.

Let's hope it's good news and whatever it is takes the club in the right direction. Mon the BU's !!!

It was Gemmell at centrehalf that baffled me. Surely McMullen or MacDonald should have paired up with Hunter. Far too much faffing about at the back .
