Now we are getting to the problem it's the club's fault they didn't want midweek games your the fixtures man you should tell them there will be games because you can't fit the games in without them and that club includes mine. next in your opinion it would help you if we played into mid to late June because you need another 4_5 Saturdays to help you get the season finished ? Have a look a the eosfl their league it's going along just fine no issues so I'm going to help you out why not give him a phone and ask him how he has managed to get his league finished on time without blaming everyone one else and I'm sure he will tell you what I've been telling you for a while now ! your last point about grass another person has put that to bed.

So there goes that famous quite it's how we used to do it so it's ok as a fixture Secretary your mandate is to put a fixture list out within the time scale given its impossible to fit the amount of matches in on the amount of Saturday's there is in the calendar everyone can see that me included. so why were there no midweek at the start of the season where we would be watching in shorts and t shirts great but we never got them we started getting midweek games when they are more likely to be called of because of the weather which a few of them were now you want us to play in to June because that in your opinion is great and it's warmer . Why can't the junior cup final be played on grass because the grass pitches are being worked on to get them ready for the new season for years club's have struggled to get enough time to get their pitches ready for the new season but because you want to play into June then we will continue to struggle. You have said with all the games and cups available you can still fit them into the time scale you have but it's clear it's not possible unless we play more midweek games something has to go .

Aye and a big wan at that from someone who sits abroad and is an expert of everything that happens in the wosfl .

There's a surprise the beloved junior cup dates all sorted and very proud about posting them we have a league that looks like a burst couch with holes all over it . It's half way through February and we still have not played 3 teams in our league the first one posted for early March against arthurlie and we still dont have dates for our games against Rob Roy or petershill home or away but hey everything is great it's just like it used to be different name for the league but same old fixtures from junior minded people might as well bring Scott Robertson back because nothing has changed

As you say it's all about opinions this darvel team is the best I've ever seen at our level but they wouldn't finish in the top six of league one it's ok watching them play in one off cup ties and beating teams higher than them but over the course of a full season two thirds of that team won't be good enough that's my opinion.

I dont support darvel I go and take various matches when the buffs have no game . I dont support people who slag them nor do I care but people are entitled to their opinions that's what forums like these are for but your on here telling them that they shouldn't be doing that and the things they say are not true maybe there not but other things could be true ? As for what players are paid if a team has has got the money then why no get the best players possible that's my thoughts but you are trying to tell people that players are on x amount when you really dont have a clue .

Wouldn't go to a normal game ? including the 2 games against the buffs I've also seen darvel 5 times this season the two cup ties and 3 normal games that you call them in also going to the beith v darvel on the 25th because my team are playing on Friday 24th that makes it that I will have seen darvel 7 times this season and probably more before the season is over

Went to work this morning comes home have read at p and b and it's an hour's read about darvel with a guy who openly admits he hates The famous Glasgow Rangers and he knows all the facts about wages at darvel and a few other clubs also and telling everyone to support and love darvel I know it's Valentine's day but that's taking it a bit too far . I went to both televised games out of interest and enjoyed the occasion and last night darvel just couldn't raise their game like they did against Aberdeen but should be proud of what they have achieved no matter how much money they have spent ,nor do I care it's still something people will talk about for years to come and not just the 100 or so regular fans but most fans no matter who you support and going by this thread they are the talk of the steamie . When darvel win the league and hopefully they win the play offs how far they go up the leagues is anyone's guess everyone will still keep tabs on them some hoping they fall in their ass , but history will show it's was done with serious money and that won't go on forever and some people who claim that this team can live on the income without the John gall and QTS simply canny coont. It will be interesting over the coming years where this team goes and all the best to them and I will watch with interest while supporting my teams .

There's nothing between the buffs and darvel it's a wind up and it's clearly working The only link is our ex chairman while he was doing personal business with John gall he was asked if he could help darvel out with the up grade of the ground for the Aberdeen game and deal with all the safety work that was required to increase the capacity off the ground which he has done and now helping them with the up and coming falkirk match . Because myself and other buffs fans have been attending the cup games when the buffs have no game people are going into overdrive and making things up just because our ex chairman was helping darvel out. Myself and a few others always attend various games when we have no game and as we have a lot of Friday games it lets us take other games in regular from all the other wosfl teams .

Good luck to darvel tomorrow night I went to the Aberdeen game and have a ticket for tomorrow night's game hopefully it's the same atmosphere and result.

Earlier in the season we played talbot on a Wednesday because the two teams progressed in the Scottish cup we lost out in revenue which would have been made on a Saturday the original fixture was a Saturday and should have stayed on a Saturday but it couldn't be played on another Saturday because the junior cup has taken valuable dates so because we dont play in the junior cup we get penalised and that makes unfair competition.
