First we didn't deserve anything out of this game talbot were a class above us tonight . The free kick I didn't think it was but can't take anything away from Mick good strike and we are down 1.0 the penalty I thought was one so no complaints from me. In the second half I thought we showed a bit more urgency to get the ball forward and had 2 decent chances one which produced a good save from the Talbot keeper when we lost the 3rd it was over as a contest and while you chase a game like we did you leave yourself open and talbot took advantage of it and scored another 3 goals in the last ten minutes . This was our second test this season against a team who is going to be challenging for the league and as a team we have failed miserably and tells me and other buffs fans we are not good enough get to mount a serious challenge this season.

It's going to be very interesting how the junior beaks deal with the aftermath shenanigans after the cup tie on Saturday will darvel get a reprieve and talbot thrown out can't wait to see the outcome ?

I think it's sfa members rather than a team who qualified through winning a cup to play in the Scottish.

Back to the more positive stuff I enjoyed the game and good crowd I would estimate between 8 and 9 hundred which in these times is good.

I've seen gate checkers on many occasions in cup competitions over the years some will stand discreetly other more visible it can be annoying and at times create a bad atmosphere but in my opinion when a team does this they must be suspicious of the other team ( lets call it playing the game ) but well within the rules.

Absolutely and the video footage clearly proves it just watched micks after match thoughts when he says it wasn't a penalty I think when he watches the video he will change his mind.

You have seen it how you see it but myself and other darvel fans around were all agreed it was a bad challenge and deserved a red.

I'm a buffs fan and was there watching talbot as that who we play in our next league game so I've no need to be biased and you must have been next to me because it happened in front of me and it was very poor from an experienced player on a young player.

If darvel and their fans think they are a certainty for the league this season will be doubting themselves after that performance. Talbot over 90minutes made you look ordinary with boylan and shankland tearing you to bits. As for Jordan allans fore arm smash on the young talbot forward was in poor taste and correctly red carded. Over all talbot will be happy to be in the next round but I don t think darvel will be to bothered at not going through in a competition that the majority of people at the club didn't want to be in.

Why are all the cup competition's all clustered together we have only played 6 league games and don t have one scheduled to play until the 25th November and because we don t play in another associations cup we get free weeks without games !

All about opinions I think cumnock can beat Dumbarton and always going to say buffs will beat forfar the rest I agree with.

With 8 wosfl teams in the Scottish this weekend how does everyone think how many will progress to the 3rd round. First up are cumnock v Dumbarton on Friday live also pollok live on Monday the rest are on Saturday . My team the buffs are up against forfar at home forfar are struggling at the moment and we are starting to gel as a team I'm confident we can pull of a shock and get to the next round . Hopefully all the rest can progress which would be a good advert for the wosfl.
