  1. Mind Man U were supposed to come up and play us pre-season for 13/14? Fulla wind and pish that SAF.
  2. We need someone up front beside Wallace. That is the most important signing we have to make this summer. Experienced striker between 28 and 30 Y/O would be perfect.
  3. Would love to get him for another spell again, but I think he'll do a Stevie May and go on loan to a club in a higher division, Alloa, Dumbarton and the like.
  4. When was Husband ever on loan at us? As far as I was aware he signed a contract with us in summer 2012.
  5. Ross Forbes is a quality footballer. His first few games for us he really stood out, especially in the game he scored a peach in the 3-0 victory against Ayr. However, he fell behind and was dropped. It happens. Hopefully with a full pre-season and time to settle in he'll be a regular for us, just like he was at Partick. Wasn't he often cited as their main man when they won the league? As for Husband: best of luck to him, but really, he won't be missed. He gives the ball away in the middle quite often and lacks pace. His free kicks are brutal, mostly, as well. If we keep Falky and Geggan then that's a settled centre of midfield we'll have. At least wages will be freed up to get a couple of strikers after today. I think up front is our main priority just now.
  6. Stephen Husband tweeted "am unemployed" the other day. Been given the boot? Good if true.
  7. Moff would be a total coup for us on £700 pw. If that goes through and we add a couple of wide men and an experienced CB, perhaps getting Shankland on loan again, then hopefully this would be the basis of a strong core. Danny Grainger has done the basics up till now. He could've put his feet up and smoked a cigar the games he played in League 1.
  8. That can't be sustainable surely with the gates Airdrie get. No offence.
  9. Nothing's ever simple with us. Yes, financially, it'd be calamitous if we don't go up. Crowds may regularly go below 1500 which is not good. We are screaming for a decent striker and a solid defence. If we get that sorted I think we're on our way but Airdrie and Morton are going to push us all the way.
  10. If we don't win the title next season it'll be a total failure. We should skoosh it but we desperately need a shake in the line up. A few guys who've been around the block would be necessary but strictly within budget. A one in, one out basis should shore up some wages. If it's true that we're trying to get a hold of Moffat, then good. Him and Wallace up front would be deadly. Falkingham needs a kick up the arse, he's been utter dross for a while now, costing us possession and a goal yesterday. Won't be sad to see the back of Morris either. He was immense for us last season and played well at the start of this campaign, but the hype around him is totally unjustified and would free up a wage.
  11. Didn't realise there was a clause in Geggan's contract. Fvck. Our best player too. Didn't count Scully before as he was only loaned to us, but would definitely like to keep a hold of him. Can't see him getting game time at Partick. He'll be behind Gallacher and Fox. Guess we could always get him on loan again. Same goes for Shankland. He might be expecting some game time at Aberdeen next season though.
  12. Out of all those players, I wouldn't give a toss if any of them were to reject new contracts, if offered. It's certain that Morris and Grainger will be offski, again, not a f**k will be given, but Husband will probably get kept on. Big summer for us and we need a good core to challenge for the title. I think we're going to struggle with the budget well and truly slashed but should be up there. Will be a tough league, wouldn't rule out Airdrie challenging as well after the end of the season they've had alongside Morton.
  13. Aye, it's going to be part of the 85 Range or 1885 Range, whatever they're calling it, so hopefully some other class additions. Can't wait to get the track top that's coming out.
  14. Would rather be up against Alloa, although if it is to be Alloa I reckon Stenny or Ayr would spank them in the semis.
  15. Talking Heads are the best band to come out of America in my opinion. Amazing musicians, really are.
  16. Reading this thread has made me quite angry tbh. The club treated us like total c***s during Yorkston's era and Hay would certainly be my nomination for worst manager. Think DA Baracus covered the main points as to why, don't think I could add any more. On such a high one season, expecting to challenge for 3rd again, then you get hit with Davie fucking Hay. Was a disgusting time supporting Dunfermline.
  17. We'll parp Cowden in the play offs and take Hemmings along the way. Smashing.
  18. When I saw Morris last month in Glasgow he said he was staying, but probably just saying that to appease me from nagging him. Apparently he's been on the radar from both Dundee United and Aberdeen. If they offer him a contract he'll be offski for sure.
  19. Geggan and Williamson for moi. Geggan's going to be integral in these play-offs and next season.
  20. I see. Is it plain red or is there a secondary colour? Quite interested now.
  21. Where did you hear it is to be red? Would love if the home kit had black shorts and red socks a la early 60s
  22. I use it and get some matches but never speak to them. My mum always said I was too shy for my own good. Just want ma hole tbh.
  23. Was a bit of a fail seeing as how the club have already showed next season's kit (which is smart IMO) Hopefully next year's away kit is maroon and navy blue.
  24. They were even worse than us. Got fucked out of Europe by a team from Liechtenstein (a country which you could fit all its residents in at Hampden). Ouch.
  25. Cup Finals we didn't win and subsequently pumped out of Europe by minnows? Definitely well worth nearly going into liquidation for.
