Had an Orkney Best at Henglers Circus (Wetherspoons) on Sauchiehall Street this afternoon. One of my favourite pints. -

I definitely prefer a "traditional" IPA to American IPA's. The Stone IPA tasted like a bouquet of flowers.... But bit in a nice way. -

Just had this: Harvest's Gold by Great Newsome Brewery Quite nice. Malty and not too hoppy at all which is good. -

Had one of these from North Yorkshire Brewing Co. Yorkshire Porter Really tasty. This one was 4.4% but they have a version that was 9%. -

Just back from a weekend in Sheffield and went to a Real Ale Off License. Went a bit mad and got a few beers! I also had a Kestrel. Something I haven't seen in years. Disgusting! -

I had an Old Engine Oil by Harvieston the other day. Not usually a fan if Porters but this was fantastic. Also tried a Greenwich Black IPA by Meantime (available in Marks & Spencers). A brilliant beer. -
