    Managed my first 10k of 2014 this morning. A braw day for it.

    I definitely prefer a "traditional" IPA to American IPA's. The Stone IPA tasted like a bouquet of flowers.... But bit in a nice way.

    Oh, and the Glasgow CAMRA announced today that they'll be holding a real ale festival at the Briggait in the Merchant City on 26th-28th June this year.

    Had one of these from North Yorkshire Brewing Co. Yorkshire Porter Really tasty. This one was 4.4% but they have a version that was 9%.

    Just back from a weekend in Sheffield and went to a Real Ale Off License. Went a bit mad and got a few beers! I also had a Kestrel. Something I haven't seen in years. Disgusting!

    I had an Old Engine Oil by Harvieston the other day. Not usually a fan if Porters but this was fantastic. Also tried a Greenwich Black IPA by Meantime (available in Marks & Spencers). A brilliant beer.
