  1. Mike McCurry as a guest speaker... interesting!
  2. Bangladesh need 72 from 72 balls... Close, but a team like Bangladesh should be able to close that out.
  3. Anyone got any good recommendations for entry level road bikes?
  4. Had an Orkney Best at Henglers Circus (Wetherspoons) on Sauchiehall Street this afternoon. One of my favourite pints.
  5. 48mins 48secs for the Mens Health 10k at Bellahouston for me this morning.
  6. I'm heading in October for 5 nights. Looking forward to it. I know there is so much to do, but I'm not going to try to do everything in the shirt time. Will try to get a few of the big sights out the way first!
  7. I had a few Houston Killellan's (sp?) last night. Quite nice.
  8. Managed my first 10k of 2014 this morning. A braw day for it.
  9. I definitely prefer a "traditional" IPA to American IPA's. The Stone IPA tasted like a bouquet of flowers.... But bit in a nice way.
  10. A few American IPA and Pale Ales I've had recently. I preferred the All Day IPA to the Stone IPA. Stone IPA by Stone Brewing All Day IPA by Founders Brewery Phoenix Pale Ale by Sly Fox
  11. Having an Ardnave Ale by Islay Ales. Quite a nice dry tasting bitter golden ale.
  12. Just had this: Harvest's Gold by Great Newsome Brewery Quite nice. Malty and not too hoppy at all which is good.
  13. Oh, and the Glasgow CAMRA announced today that they'll be holding a real ale festival at the Briggait in the Merchant City on 26th-28th June this year.
  14. Had one of these from North Yorkshire Brewing Co. Yorkshire Porter Really tasty. This one was 4.4% but they have a version that was 9%.
  15. Just back from a weekend in Sheffield and went to a Real Ale Off License. Went a bit mad and got a few beers! I also had a Kestrel. Something I haven't seen in years. Disgusting!
  16. I had an Old Engine Oil by Harvieston the other day. Not usually a fan if Porters but this was fantastic. Also tried a Greenwich Black IPA by Meantime (available in Marks & Spencers). A brilliant beer.
