Johnstone Burgh v Dundee East Craigie. Fancy Burgh to win this for obvious reasons but East Craigie are semi finalists last season so will be no mugs and are doing decent in the East league too.
East League? Time stands still in the Junior world ...

Talbot are up to No.3 in the ranking, and will be at 2 after they beat Wigtown & Bladnoch 47-0 in the cup.
Would you like to revise that prediction in light of the results so far?

Never mind eh, the Board can spend their time counting the millions and looking for another new home when/if Crown Point is a no go.
If there were any millions to count you wouldn't be in this mess.

Most of the lower clubs will rarely get a sniff at Europe
Nor will Birmingham City.
As Jasper Carrot used to say, "City will be in Europe next year ...... If there's a war."

I recall Rangers attempting something similar after their unfortunate liquidation event in 2012.
They'll always be "The Sevco" to me.

Its not formal, it's simply anglicisation that occurred as they couldn't comprehend the idea of county's that didn't end in shire so they just forced it onto places that never were named as such, thankfully binned and being the glorious kingdom is the current naming,
Indeed. Strange 19th century episode which also gave us Forfarshire, Haddingtonshire and Linlithgowshire.
And Scotland became North Britain - not very popular. I recall reading that disgruntled post office employees would redirect any mail addressed to "N.B." to New Brunswick. It would take months to make its way to the intended recipient.

If you're thinking of Sutton United then the game was played at Sutton. Arsenal's last home match with a non-league club was in 1956.
No, I was thinking of Farnborough.
It was a bit longer ago than I remembered (old age problem!), as the game was switched to Highbury, not the Emirates. It was still officially a Farnborough home game, so that explains the record you've found. And the fact that Arsenal wore their away kit. If you look at the early days of cup football you’ll see exactly why reversals are refused. All sorts of shenanigans are possible if we did so.
It happens in England. A few years ago some non-league club drew Arsenal at home. Their ground was allegedly too small, and they eagerly agreed to switch to the Emirates and a financial bonanza. Of course they lost by a barrowload, whereas they might just have caused a surprise at home.
It caused a lot of adverse comment, and IIRC it was reported that it wouldn't be allowed in Scotland.

I'd say Loch Ness is the best option of those three. Fortrose is a lovely place and the nearby Union Tavern is a cracking boozer. North Kessock is also very scenic, Alness not so much. I doubt any of the three have will any catering at all, but you won't be far away from a bakery in any of the three places.
And people wonder why there's an obesity epidemic.

The "Team of the Week" concept in itself is tin-pot. Arguing about it is even more so.

My impression is the SOSFL are happy to keep the 'heid doon' and carry on as things are, left alone to play in their own little utopia.
Indeed. So exactly the same as the Juniors until very recently.

They did up until they merged two Inverness teams to join the seniors
As explained by Jacksgranda above, the Highland League teams were always senior.

I didn't say they weren't friendly or welcoming here (quite the opposite in fact), but they also are guilty through ignorance of casual racism. Examples would be saying 'Hey Joe" to all foreigners - Joe is the nickname Filipinos gave to American military. And, in their local language the word for foreigner is 'Americano." Low level casual racism and not something to get upset about but still. Unlike you, I haven't witnessed much negativity to locals here from ex-pats but then again the Philippines is very American-centric and the major group of visible ex-pats here are the Americans.
Imagine a country where all strangers are addressed as "Jimmy" ...

They'd need to call it gold though.
Why? The Irish flag is officially green, white and ORANGE.

But is that the be all and end all?
I'm pretty sure Celtic fans don't see their club as a business.
As my solicitor friend used to say, they can call it an ornamental pond but it's still a limited company.
What the fans think is utterly irrelevant.

Celtic FC “try not to release a green change kit that clashes with the home kit” challenge. Difficulty - impossible.
Celtic should adopt an orange change kit. First, it would reflect the Irish tricolour they're so fond of, and second it would really p*** off the other lot.

This is where someone needs to explain things to me as I can't get my head around it...
Are FW paying these boys a full time salary and/or accommodation to move up?
At that level, you'd be lucky to get a match fee at most other teams so where are FW finding these players?
And who is paying for it?!
I seem to recall that the chairman gives them jobs in his business.
