That rumour has been going around since Max came , maybe he is , maybe he isn’t , but the club should in no way have put themselves in this position if it’s true . The three players were named a while back but not going to post on here but I’m sure most fans will can work it out .

I would only disagree with “ the same place “ . I think the league will be a lot stronger next season as clubs like Cowdenbeath and East Stirling will improve from this season and the 2 clubs that have been cast adrift will be gone . If not one of them . Lets see what the supporters think after next week . I have seen the lad Zara play and can’t see him at lowland league level .

Taking a positive out of this , is that Max will be gone tonight .

Interesting stats when you look at league , Rangers B top having conceded more goals than BU and Celtic B only conceded one less . That tells us the problem isn’t so much with the defence even though we have sold quite a few goals .

I don’t think many clubs would retain their manager under the circumstances currently ongoing at Newtown . 9 hours of league football , scored 1 goal and that was a penalty . Possibly the worst I’ve ever seen at BU .

Think even the doubters are falling in line with the general views of BU support now , so it’s over to the committee to grow some balls ASAP .

Decent performance from BU but we can’t score so can’t win games and we sell our centre forward to opponents , great thinking . McArthur MOTM followed by Musa for some good saves including a great penalty save . Season can’t end soon enough . The rest I’ve said before .

What’s more embarrassing is that BU are sticking with a manager that’s going to ruin the club . 4 league games in a row , no goals . That doesn’t happen often .

Unfortunately not the change a lot of us are looking for !

Disagree , I’m baffled by how things are going and I do go every week , pay my money , support the treasure chest etc so don’t like to see those comments brought to the table . Yesterday was really all we had left to play for , we end up with 3 under 20s on the bench as support . Much as I like to see this , not on this occasion , fine with league games because there is now nothing to play for . Yesterday was it and we blew it again . Max knew that we were short of players due to ineligibility , injury , suspension but chose to send Dev on loan and sold Dan . Why do that before what was a big game ? On here Max appears to have a lot of support but that is only a few supporters , some others including myself get really fed up with the same nonsense game after game , season after season and the supporters who never come on here are completely fed up with things on the park . That’s told in crowd numbers . Yes I still go and will always go because I’ve always supported BU but I do not like what I am seeing especially in the past 2 or 3 seasons . I can’t see any progression under current management no matter who they sign .

Can you not be a fan and just say how it is then ?

Must be the worst if not one of the worst pitches in the league , having said that I’d rather be standing there before the likes of Cumbernauld and Falkirk stadiums . Thought BU bossed the game and really should have won , we missed quite a few chances whereas Musa wasn’t really troubled . A lot better than the last match though , so hopefully we can take it into next week and keep a cup run going .

Best of luck to the lad but 9th tier to 3rd tier , unlikely to work . Seasoned professionals will see to that .

What is this , get your facts right before coming on and spreading untruths . BU have no cushy deal with council as council have nothing to do with the park. Suggest you stick with what you know .

Alasson had a poor game but won’t criticise as he is a definite talent , but players like him can’t do it all the time and if all around him play badly then there’s no chance . That is why he is with BU and not at a higher level .

Lennon substitution , who was right , the manager or the support ? Poor doesn’t even cover todays performance .

Great display , good to watch against a team we hadn’t beaten previously . UoS are always a difficult team to play , fast and fit but we coped really well . Defence were excellent , Ward had a difficult first half against what has to be said a very fast winger . Approved in second half . Midfield worked hard and were also excellent . Struggled to get much support to Zander was the only downside . Watt again caused problems when he come in . When I look at table , I think we should be 9 points higher and in the mix . I base that on Gala/Broomhill home matches , no points when we should have had 6 . Berwick/Shire away when really should have had 4 points minimum rather than 1 . Pretty frustrating but if we could go on a four or five game unbeaten run we could get up there . Consistency is the problem though .

Thought BU were on top but mistakes cost us again . We need a spine to the team , goalie lacks confidence , centre half needs to be regular , centre mid struggling and a centre forward again with no confidence . Not going to work . Couldn’t understand the booking for Max , referee suggesting it was for him being outside the technical area , which he was . Pan along to the Shire dugout and there’s a guy doing the exact same . Come on officials try to be consistent . Obviously the red was for something he said . Doesn’t exactly show the right example to his players .

So 6 good signings according to you . Remind me , how many players has he signed ? It doesn’t have to be about money and not true that the rest in your words have all had money thrown at them .

Explain yourself re your rude comment there . We are all entitled to our opinions and mine are very much in keeping with the general support , most of whom never post on here . Certainly looks on Twitter that Max he thought he had to try to regain some confidence . He talks of players not being good enough and shipped on , sometimes it’s the manager that’s not good enough . Ironic that he is the most successful manager at Newtown now .

We all make mistakes , but it’s when you don’t learn from them that the problem begins .

We are never going to have a settled 11 under Max , you should know that given the last 3 seasons . People I speak to who have supported BU in the past can no longer be bothered by the revolving door and poor signings made by Max . The revolving door was there before him too . There is constant fall outs between manager and players and stories I have heard which can’t be related on here . I know there is Max love in on here but that is by no way the general view of BU fans . The bad signings outweigh the good ones by quite a distance .

Yet another wrong choice in pre season signings then . Let’s face it over the last 2 seasons most of the pre season signings have been mistakes and the manager has basically admitted that by them not being there long . What gets me too is that people are sponsoring these players and next thing they are out the door . Really doesn’t set a good example . Here we go again , another signing from Camelon , does he never learn . Two leagues below and over 100 goals lost and we sign their centre half . Similarities with Musa and that hasn’t worked out great . Yes I will give the lad every chance but doesn’t bode well in my opinion . I hope I’m completely wrong but time will tell .
