Decent win yesterday but we still caused a few problems for ourselves , especially letting Penicuik back in the game with first goal . Great finish though , fair play . This has been a season again laden with mistakes especially from Max . Auchinleck match - Nobody could believe the starting line up which he changed in second half . Too late and I am totally convinced that Max cost us that game . Rangers B match - Substituting an entire midfield is another admission of getting it completely wrong . Yesterday - Only 1 pre season signing in starting 11 . Musa - dropped , Todd - dropped , Hughes - cameo appearances , Coll -away on loan , Ward - don’t know where he is and big Dan - dropped . So much for his pre season picks to bring the club forward . I really think at most clubs this would not be tolerated so why is it at BU .

Is that the same Adams the club have never told us about yet .

When you look at the league , we have failed to beat any team that sits above us . Lets do it on Saturday .

Good post , agree that lowland league will get better and better with it be a very competitive league . In fact it’s pretty competitive just now at the top . Having a look at it , if BU had have beaten just Gala and Broomhill , they would have been right in the mix .Both games we gifted to the opposition . A good run could even put us back up there but have serious doubts In us doing that . That requires a settled team in my view .

I challenge any supporter or committee member to come on here and say the line up was what they expected . Anyone I spoke to was completely dismayed at the line up . Only one man can take the blame and his error of judgment ( not for the first time ) could have potentially cost our club a lot of revenue . Once again , we are in a poor position . The managers glory days of the EoS have just not been replicated in the lowland league … fact .

Why indeed ? I have said before that Max should have gone last season and but for a brief honeymoon period this season we are still in the same position . For a manager to be clueless about his best 11 at this stage of the season is unforgivable . That brings the season to a competitive end already . Gates will fall away yet again . Come on committee , grow the balls to sack the manager .

Fans through the gate will eventually decide if committee can’t . I accept that committee are probably staying loyal but can’t go on . Credibility is diminishing by the match .

Think I’m correct in saying the Shire have won more points than us in the last 8 games and they only won their first match yesterday so that highlights how bad things are . Did we not soldier on last season ? Should we just do the same again ? Pretty sure there would be applicants .

If it hadn’t been for a good start 13 points out of 15 , we would be relegation fodder at the moment . I don’t think any of us expected to win the league but compete yes . 5 pts now from 24 is very poor . Max used to change the team around to great effect but that hasn’t really happened for a while now . Unless there is a dramatic change we will be skirting around the lower part of league .

Max has brought a thoroughly promising season almost to an end . Defeat from Auchinleck will finish things for me . Think we may have enough not to go down but can’t see us above the bottom 5 for much longer on the basis of some of the recent matches . He seems to have no idea what his best team is and that’s his job . Jack Smith against physical defenders will seldom work . We got a decent centre forward who we had been crying out for last season , now sitting on bench . Almost every team we play are more physical than us and we can’t compete . Ps sending off was a terrible decision , but might have been a penalty just before .

Why did Dan get taken off . Physical central defence and we bring on a wee guy . Don’t get it . Zander in centre with Dan on right didn’t work so why not swap them , after all Zander was on right in second half . To me , that’s why we haven’t got the 3 points .

But he did issue 2 red cards to us at Wick .

Cracker of a draw BU v Auchinleck

Things have gone pear shaped since Zander returned and Nicky injured . Zander and Dan doesn’t work for me . Dan is a very hard worker but doesn’t score , we need goals . Zander trying hard but still no goals either . Until we sort this out we will struggle . We were very fortunate not to be 2-0 down yesterday against what I thought was a poor Cowdenbeath side . Why do we resort to high balls when we always play better on the deck ? Against VoL we were very poor and have struggled since with the exception of Hearts game . Anyway , at this present time we are not that great , so the players need to stick in . We have the players to improve things . In to round 2 though .

It was only a testimonial but in the Lex Shields testimonial , Eamonn Bannon and Gordon Strachan played for BUs and Davie Cooper for Rangers . Roy Aitken also played in a testimonial against us .

Draws not with us today EoS away to Rose or Dalkeith tgen away to Oakley or Broxburn if we win that Anyway it’s a competitive derby possibly .

Cowdenbeath v BU in Scottish cup

Another good game to watch , could have been 7 at half time really . BU dominated . Hope Hearts keeper is ok after taking what looked like a serious injury and that the ambulance didn’t take too much longer to arrive after final whistle . BU look far more able to handle fast players this season . Great hat trick from Alasson . On to top of the table clash next week .

Absolutely no way was there just 38 more people at the BU v UoS game than the CC game .

Agree probably fair result although BU maybe made the more chances . Cracking match , thoroughly good 90 mins , well done to both teams .

Good performance by BUs again . Only one team with 100% record after 3 games so it’s going to be a strong league . Top of the table clash on Wednesday .

BU under 20s playing a friendly on Friday night seemingly . Surprised to see no mention of it from BU .
