Any financial/economic/exchange rate experts out there? I'd be looking at getting some dollars later this week but with the Sterling taking a bit of a fall, I could be losing out on a fair bit. That building site in front of Marischal College is an absolute eyesore. It should be criminal to put something so bogging in front of such a stunning building.

T-shirts are just a one day thing unless it's to quickly chuck on after work, in which case it would do for another day or two. Jeans will do for casual wear until they're stained or just not too fresh. For going out, it really should be a clean pair/only worn once. Same applies for jumpers really. Shirts have to be clean on. Under no circumstances should a shirt be worn more than once. Underwear can be worn continually until the skidmarks start to really smell IMO

Aberdeen seems to be really bad for having a ridiculous number of bus stops in a short distance. With work, I've been in several areas of Aberdeen and I've noticed that so many of them will have bus stops that aren't even 50 yards apart. The traffic on Union St is bad enough at times but it can easily take 10-15 minutes just to get from one end to the other on a bus.

McCabe picked out a belter of a pass against Stenny away last season, the kind of vision and even technique that made my arsehole tingle a little by when I saw it on the highlights. Still one of the very few decent things he did last season. I reckon he has potential to be a key player for us next season though.

I was interested when someone else told me the other day that their child was finishing primary school soon, and the class was given a choice; have a fancy prom type event with kilts and fancy dresses etc, or a day out at the bowling and a disco. They chose the latter. It'd be interesting to know how many of the children would rather a more casual event than some americanised prom night.

It just seems like mentalist behaviour. By all means, celebrate transition and get emotional about a new adventure for your child. But celebrating it as a major achievement? Nut.
