Not usually a fan of the gushing football fans do over people who have any kind of impact on their club; a stand named after them, retired jerseys etc. But I think it would be fitting for Ross McArthur to have something dedicated to him, perhaps a part of the training ground. It’s been easy to forget recently how dedicated McArthur has been to the club. Some of his mistakes have been very frustrating, but I think his commitment to the club should be immortalised as he steps down.

Hibs very clearly have the ability to sell 25000 tickets for a cup final, and have done numerous times in recent years, therefore they should be given an even split. If Dunfermline were playing Hibs at a 30,000 seater stadium and they tried to only give us 10,000 on the basis that Hibs could sell more, I’d be fucking furious.

I’m sure it’s always been there but in the modern era of social media and the like, we just have to accept players talking about their former team (usually one of the cheeks). Funny how Pars fans felt exactly the same about the club no less than 3 weeks ago. Despite still sitting bottom of the league and playing a team in 6th, it’s funny to see the attitude of both sets of fans heading into this game, you’d think the roles were reversed.
