Yep. I’d love to know if the board *genuinely* believe we can get 14 wins and 6 draws from our remaining 25 games. I’d also love to know exactly what ‘evidence’ they may have to believe that kind of form is in any way likely. We should accept absolutely nothing less than a top 4 finish, and the fact that that is so extremely unlikely after just 10 games is a fucking disgrace. The more I think about the entire situation at the club right now, the more angry, confused and disconnected from the club I begin to feel.

The rule should just be if two teams from the same league are drawn, they just pick a different away team. Should have put the Dunfermline ball back and picked a different one. Aye I could get on board with this. Imagine someone like St Cuthbert Wanderers, Golspie Sutherland or Broomhill being drawn against - and knocking out - a Premiership/Championship* team. *most likely Peter Grant’s Dunfermline Athletic.

He’s been out for some time so it’d be unfair to expect him to be as influential as he was pre injury. It’ll still be refreshing to have him back in the starting lineup. Those who have seen more than the 2 or 3 games I’ve seen this season; would Wilson and Allan work in the middle?

With the board’s arrogance in waiting until what, possibly November, December or later, to sack Grant, any new manager coming in has less and less time to turn things around. If the board had hired a semi-competent manager (i.e. Petrie) in the summer, he’d at least have got the first 1/4 of the season to find his feet and sitting between 4th-6th in the table wouldn’t have been a disaster whilst not exactly desirable. What they have done now is left us in a desperate situation where we’ve played 10 games and failed to win a single one. Any manager coming in from this point onwards has to get things turned around rapidly. Arrogant b*****ds, the lot of them.

Tbh I’m far more concerned that such an arrogant w**k of a manager can chase out a decent centre half, more than I am about losing Watson himself. The manner in which the club has announced it doesn’t sit right either.
