  1. I think a walk-out is more noticeable tbf. McArthur and co sit in the Main sand and I’d imagine the majority of folk who walk out will be in the North West or the Norrie, i.e. in full view of the Main stand. I’d hope the effect would be that the board can see folk actively getting up and fucking off, rather than just a low attendance. As for paying £20 to do it, I think most folk would rather still give the money to the club as the club does and always will need the funds. Of course you could argue that you could just buy a ticket/donate £20 and not go, but it doesn’t have the same effect I’ve just mentioned above.
  2. One of the few encouraging things about Peter Grant at the start of the season was his insistence that he was going to play a system that suited the players, not shoehorning them into a system he wants to use. …that is precisely what he’s done.
  3. He’s laughably bad. Destined to be in the juniors in 2 years. He almost single handedly conceded all 3 on Saturday and he’ll still start this weekend.
  4. Last night’s episode was probably the best so far. Plenty going on and setting up for some twists in the last couple of episodes.
  5. Good point. If he punts Grant before Monday then he’ll retain at least a bit of credibility. Not that his track record is in any good shape just now.
  6. If he isn’t gone by tomorrow morning I’ll have lost all faith in Ross McArthur’s a ability to make footballing decisions. There’s not a chance Grant will walk so he needs punted as soon as possible.
  7. Just a few of the latest nuggets of pure football knowledge from our fearless leader, Peter Grant. I feel emotional and humbled by his expert guidance. When somebody hits out with the “people always ask me..” you can absolutely guarantee that nobody has ever asked them whatever it is they’re about to answer. He’s more Brent than Grant at this stage. That would be utter pish if we had to lose a player of Dom Thomas’ quality due to the sheer ineptitude of Peter Grant. On form, Thomas is probably in the top 5 players in the division and you couldn’t blame him for not wanting to play for that utter w**k.
  8. Putting that wee dick on ignore weeks ago is the best thing I’ve done on this site.
  9. My garments would be scarily stiff if that happens.
  10. Has McGregor’s first touch always been so smooth? Quite a few passes played at a fair pace and he’s controlled them beautifully.
  11. Always wanted to give O’Donnell the benefit of the doubt at the Euros and he was superb against England but he’s looking really out of his depth tonight.
  12. The laugh in the boozer when they showed the replay there was fucking brilliant [emoji23]
  13. I’d have thought one of two things could happen: either he decides there wasn’t a foul and the yellow shouldn’t have been given, or the yellow card was correct and therefore it’s a penalty? Surely he can’t decide that the yellow was justified yet it wasn’t a foul? Or has he decided that the foul occurred before the ball was in play?
  14. Thought a Dundee player would have that record, since that’s the last year you lot won the Scottish Cup.
  15. Superb stuff from Motherwell sending emails to fans who missed the game to check in if they’re doing ok. The ‘Well leading by example in UK football once again. Feel like Dunfermline should do something similar, but instead you get a wellbeing email if you actually attended the game. “You alright? Spending £20 on that, you fucking weirdo.”
  16. Anyone getting a bit worried that Grant will get to at least December, regardless of how toxic and depleted the crowds are? Fearful this is going to be yet another wasted season. In fact, I’m concerned that the season is done already, unless Grant is punted over the next fortnight.
  17. It’s not that bad. They usually give you this sledgehammer, makes it really easy.
  18. Not buying that. When clubs hit out with the “so-called fan” patter, they’re trying to convince everyone that there isn’t a single bad egg amongst their fanbase, and that any bigot out there singing that sort of song is just some random who claims to be a Rangers fan.
  19. At first I was thinking “fair play” to Rangers for taking action and banning these bigots. I’m disappointed, however, to see the old ‘fans’ trope being rolled out again. It minimises any responsibility of the club and claims that any racist/bigot etc isn’t a true Rangers fan, when the likelihood is they’re about as big a Rangers fan you’ll ever meet in that they’ve been to 100s of games over the years and are well informed in fans’ groups. After all, wasn’t it the Unions Bears who were recorded singing that shite? Rangers are far from the only from the only perpetrators of this, but it’s about time clubs take a bit of responsibility and acknowledge that these arseholes are indeed supporters of their club. Just because you don’t want to be associated with them, doesn’t mean they’re not a representation of your club.
  20. That’s utterly heartbreaking for Vaughan. If football doesn’t work out for him I hope he goes on to have a very happy and successful career in anything so that he doesn’t spend his life wondering what he could have achieved. Good luck to him.
