    Just watched Midsommar. The most bizarre film I’ve ever seen, but enjoyable and had me fairly gripped the whole time. 2.5 hours usually feels like a drag for films but this felt just right. To be creeped out by a film set in broad daylight must be a sign of good writing and acting. 7.5/10.

    It’s almost become a rule that we shag one of the lower league teams in the group stage, regardless of how good/average/poor our squad actually is.

    The only thing that kept Hopkirk from being a regular starter in League One for us (2015/16 - previous seasons simply didn’t happen) was the quality of the other strikers like Moffat, Ryan Wallace and El Bakhtaoui. Unless he has regressed in the last 4-5 years, he should be a decent player for you and contribute to some goals.

    Interesting coverage on the Shankill from ITV tonight. A loyalist woman claiming that “no other group in society is targeted and labelled as much as them [unionists].” I’m sure the LGBT community, the black community, Muslims, Jewish people, women, sex workers addicts and homeless people would have something to say about that.

    I’ve the same experience. Only time people tend not to wear one is on quieter trains, even then folk still tend to have them, just lowered around their chin.

    I’d presume not if distancing is still a rule. Everywhere has a 1 meter rule now, so that nah increase the capacity for some but for many there’ll be no change.

    I’ve done that as well, but with every pub now operating as ‘normal’ but with far fewer people allowed in, I can see a lot of places having queues in busy cities and towns. Even some of the most ‘unpopular’ pubs near me have been fully booked during the weekend.

    I can’t decide if I want them to win 4-0 and England to barely get a kick of the ball, or the dodgiest goal since Mexico ‘86 with England having 4 perfectly legal goals disallowed for no real reason.

    I thought the 30% had been confirmed at the time but the last few posts makes me think I just saw that number and it’s stuck in my head. As said above, however, even 10% (which is surely the minimum) is a healthy portion. Looks like he’ll go for no less than £4m if he is sold, so between that and the Germans’ contributions, we’re basically one of football’s financial superpowers.
