Our last Twitter update, which is usually pretty active during the game, is announcing the start of the second period of extra time. That speaks volumes for how utterly shite this game must be.

My favourite thing about this is that the Scottish Cup Twitter page used an image of Morton v Dunfermline alongside ‘scintillating’ in promoting this evening’s fixtures. This fixture is, and has been for years, anything but scintillating.

That entire episode baffled me. No doubt it will all piece together fairly quickly though.

Martin Compston was a guest on Sean McDonald's Blethered podcast if anyone's interested. Listened to it this morning and found it enjoyable, he always comes across as a very likeable guy.

What’s the significance of that Instagram post by Turner? Really pleased to see Nisbet called up, seeing him in a Scotland jersey will be some sight. Another few quid for the club tae. Some boy.

I might be wrong, but I’m sure all 3 have been known to play in the middle. I reckon you’re right with Thomas - Banks - Murray (R-L). Could be any combination though tbh.

I’ll be gutted if that’s Turner’s last (real) involvement as a Pars player done. If he leaves in the summer I’ll fear we’ve missed out on a player with enormous potential.

A lot of players in this squad either have done or will go on to have impressive careers elsewhere. Crawford has done well to assemble a capable squad, but he’s got them playing like fucking shitebags. The players have to take responsibility too, obviously, but a capable manager should have this squad challenging Hearts, instead we’re sitting third and in danger of dropping out of the playoffs.

Quite clearly didn’t get the advantage there. Don’t know why the ref didn’t pull it back for the free kick.

Apart from missing the first 20 minutes, it’s been fine for me. No buffering, camera keeping up with play and no complaints with the commentary.

Wullie Gibson look like he’s matured into that full/wingback role. I doubt he’s actually matured, though.

Does the ref really need to play 8 minutes stoppage time? If fans were there I’d want him to keep going till midnight but it seems a bit excessive.

I genuinely think he could still get caught offside one more time.
