    Just a ‘handful’ short of 2000 season tickets. Anyone know how many we’d punted this time last year? That seems quite low. EDIT: a quick check on twitter shows we’d sold 2279 on 26/6/19, so we’re probably 300-350 down on last year’s sales.

    Quite fitting that Lewis should go on Love Island, considering Love Island is very similar to Falkirk 2018/19; aye, it’s full of handsome guys with six packs and beards but it’s fucking grim to watch.

    How likely are you to have somebody lined up? It felt like Goodwin was one of the first names mentioned for just about every vacancy during the summer, so it would have been smart for the board to have a few options/possible candidates in mind for what seemed like an inevitability.

    Aw aye, he’ll probably be absolutely pish and that wee dream of mine will be even more ridiculous than it already is. It’s still managed to get me right into the mood for the new season. Just like every other summer where there’s an international tournament, the Women’s World Cup isn’t quite giving me my football fix.

    Had a dream that the boy Coley came on as a sub in what felt like a possible Betfred Cup game against a lower league side. Immediately he received the ball, took a few Cardle-esque touches inside from the left and hit an absolute screamer in off the post. Turns out it was 7 touches before his first Pars goal, which I counted on a live replay you somehow get at games in my dreams now.

    The sheer arrogance of the Falkirk board and some supporters is fantastic, especially when you sign shite like Aiden Connolly and Mark Durnan. Talking about having a Premiership-strength side when you’ve just been papped down to League One is old firm-levels of arrogance.

    Anyone got the LaFontaines' new album? My mate said it was sounding good on the first listen but I haven't got round to buying it yet. Singles sounded quite good.
