It would be interesting to see how a strong manager at this level could get this exact squad to play. There are some talented players in the squad, and to have them playing at the quality they are doing just now is so frustrating.

What kind of shape are we playing here? From the lineup, I'm guessing it's something like this; Robinson Craigen - Ashcroft - Durnan - Longridge Higgy - Vincent - Thomson Longridge Faiss - Muirhead I'd be happy with that if that's the case, got a feeling L. Longridge could be on the left wing in a midfield 4 but Falkirk fans seem to think he's a wasted player out there.

He's on thin ice. As some people said last season, he never really 'won' over the fans so it doesn't take much for the supporters to lose their patience with him, sometimes I find that unjustified but shipping 12 goals in the opening 4 league games is absolutely appalling. The 3-5-2 looked good in the Betfred Cup and worked against United but there's obviously something about that shape that just doesn't work with these players. Back to a 4-4-2 for next week, but if he survives this week (I personally think he will) and we lose again he'll be on borrowed time.

Moved back up to Aberdeen just over a fortnight ago, my new local serves a very nice pint of yer Vitamin T for £3.30. A consistently good head on it, great temperature, glorious. Watch this space for photos later.

Why do you think there is a certain period of time in the season during which clubs can sign new players? I despair if you think AJ is the only manager to have EVER signed players in January/throughout the season to strengthen their squad.
