    Nat could potentially be an excellent signing for a League One side. He’s immensely strong, safe enough on the ball and is good at breaking up play. His downfall is being pretty slow but if he plays alongside a more mobile, attack-minded midfielder then you’d have a very effective player on your hands. You might even be lucky enough to see him #wedderturn c***s anaw.

    Scully had a really good spell with us, decent signing IMO, especially if he’s just going to be second choice to Gaston. I understand Thistle fans are far from keen on RS though.

    Exciting/different signings doesn’t automatically mean high quality but some of these new signings seem to be pretty inspired and imaginative. Unfortunately, we look to be stuck with the usual SPFL carousel signings which, again, doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but it’s far less inspiring to see the likes of Devine and Durnan signing. Beadling is the exception with us, and hopefully we’ll see more like him.

    Unless I misheard him, I’m sure Flood said he was offered just a coaching role at United. Don’t know how much he’d have been offered for that but it was more than likely a different wage to what he was getting as a player. I do doubt that he has signed for us because we offered to pay more than United.

    Andy Barrowman has had a good bit of involvement with our kits since he’s been working in a lead role with Joma, and we’ve had kits with more of an ‘individual’ design rather than one of the stock kits from their catalogue (see St Johnstone and Partick Thistle as examples). Anyone know if it was the same for the new kits?

    The shorts and socks might decide it for me. I’d actually prefer white shorts on the home kit, the 2015/16 was braw with white shorts and socks.
