https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45024174 Some pedigree, is this the successor to Leighton Baines?

You might be right. If there's ever any dick pics posted in this account from now on, it's definitely the hackers.

So in an attempt to wind up people he doesn't know, we've got a Scottish guy linking a South African twitter account about an American-owned club supported by Asians and Scandinavians - quoting a French slight against an English club... Is everyone still keeping up with this?...

Very difficult to say tbh. He's certainly quick and physically impressive for someone so young - and against St Mirren I felt he lifted us a bit when he came on. I am, however, trying not to get too carried away by constantly reminding myself that Simon Murray looked like Luis Suarez in this stage of the LC last year... -

I had a horrible nightmare that Jordan Jones signed for Rangers last night, and became a Nacho Novo arch-***. It was terrible. -

It's pretty much what the verdict on Saturday's Radio Scotland output* was - hilarious how desperate the MSM are for the derailing of the juggernaut. *Cosgrove and pre-match i.e. before Willie Miller genuinely and audibly lost count of the score in a penalty shootout while he was commentating on it. "Ehhh. I think that's it Richard.......(silence)...Arbroath?"..." -

The only ones not treating it like a friendly were the St Mirren fans - panda-monium! Good effort lads. -

Tough game to predict tbh. We certainly have a much more settled squad than in recent years, hopefully that will give us the edge. I'm looking forward to it nonetheless, it'll be great to get the football back. It'd be far better to have this game as the 4th fixture in the group - give both teams a chance to get up to speed, and look to win the group with a win. As it is, I think it'll be scrappy for an hour and then slow down. Start the season optimistically, 1-0 Killie. Boyd (p) 55. -
We just won 50% of our qualifiers for the first time in a decade - the trajectory is upward. We're still a bit pish - but 6-8 years ago we were totally pish.

Number of successful qualifications; Albania = 1 Finland = 0 Scotland = 10 I'm not suggesting we're amazing, but this discussion really isn't helped by ludicrous exaggeration in one direction or another.

On the subject of 'faux disgrace'... I think you've either completely misunderstood my point, or are deliberately trying to misrepresent what I said. When I said that it was in no way acceptable to automatically hold organisations complicit to historical child abuse and the like, I thought that was a fairly obvious reference to all the BJK bile. You've fairly perfectly illustrated the problem here - whereby ANY attempt to scrutinise these cases is automatically lumped in with all that shite, as though it was exclusively "bigoted football fans" who have an interest in this matter. This is exactly what I originally responded to.

As far as ITK brags go, this has to go down as pretty underwhelming Cammy. The overwhelming majority of our recent signings have arrived from South of the border... 3/10 - Must do better. -
People who dogmatically express their opinions are utter c***s.

Your Club's Manager, As A Player

As if any more proof was needed about how utterly ratted folk are by the juggernaut, we've now got some trying to suggest that Neil McCann and Craig Levein were superior football players to Steve Clarke. This is brilliant. -
I think this is a bit misguided. I'm with you to a degree inasmuch as the rhetoric and tone of the recent commemoration of the granting of (some) women's suffrange has been irresponsible in creating a dynamic of triumph over men - this, to me, completely overlooks the class element of this story which is still a factor now. I'm not convinced either that the establishment graciously granted young men the vote due to "risking their lives on the battlefield" - rather an institutionalised paranoia that this country would be next in the firing line of fervent trend of revolution gripping the continent at that point in British history. Your last sentence is baffling to be honest.

To be fair, there was nothing he could have done for that one against Hamilton - made a few decent stops in that game as I recall. He's a young goalkeeper who hasn't had many games in his career and that's probably pretty apparent in his game. Great distance and accuracy from kick-outs, although he uses them too exclusively - lacks confidence to make a quick release. Definitely made a couple of mistakes against Aberdeen and Hibs, and I'm not sorry to see him leave - but who knows, maybe he'll come good. -
