  1. A genuine question. Do we think Graham Alexander knows Chris Long exists?
  2. I don't think it'll be safe standing fwiw. I'm pretty certain Burrows is on record saying it's way too expensive to put in due to the age of the John Hunter stand and the infrastructure the sections would need. So, with that in mind, I look forward to the unveiling of the Straker statue.
  3. "Nobody has got Covid"* *apart from the couple of c***s that have got Covid.
  4. See I'm of the opinion that Gallagher holds none of the cards. The scenarios for me are: He refuses to play, therefore threatening his chances of making the Euros squad. There's options at centre back and he's not established enough to be a nailed on starter. Factoring in that he's, effectively, got 1.5 years left on a deal we can command a pretty sizeable fee for our club captain and full international player. As much as I don't think we'd be able to get someone of the same quality in at such short notice, we probably would accept a fee. He realises that he does not, in fact, have a gun to his head. Plays a few more games, extends his contract, goes to the Euros, pockets big Kane in June and we all live happily ever after.
  5. Aye. Did they not announce McNulty less than 24 hours after the pay cut was agreed? I mean nothing, really. But you'd have to imagine his chances of going to the Euros would be out the window if he downs tools completely.
  6. You'd be pretty fucked off if your employer came round saying you needed to take a wage cut for a while in order to keep the place in business, only for them to then start throwing money at a new guy to come in as one of the highest earners, eh.
  7. Can't really complain all things considered. At 12 o'clock this afternoon I was expecting to lose by 3 or 4 when I saw the line up so I'll take a point for sure. There looked like there was an idea of what the defence were set up to do. Sit off Barasic & Tavernier, invite the crosses into the box and defend that. For all Mugabi's failings as a player if you put a ball into the box he'll likely get his head on it because he's a giant. I've been harsh on him of late but I thought the big man was a colossus at the back. Going forward I'm hoping Lawless gets up to match fitness and slots in at RW because I'm no having Seedorf for the next 4-5 months. If Seedorf had an ounce of footballing brains & a tiny bit more ability he'd be a great player for this level. Watching him play is just a collection of wrong decisions and daft mistakes. And, again, Watt was excellent & Cole is definitely getting better as we go on.
  8. If any Millwall fans come on here lurking about to see what the opinion of Campbell is I'd just like to say your club are a bunch of horrible gammons and I wish you nothing but sadness.
  9. If anyone was looking for further evidence that Neil McCann's a fucking idiot.
  10. Fair play to Graham Alexander. Ballsy tactics to go 4-3-3 but it worked. Just allowed Tavernier & Barisic to cross into the box which is just about all Mugabi can deal with. Great performance from us.
  11. Niche as f**k but there was a photo of the tank driver at the time and, to this day, his t shirt absolutely fucking cracks me up.
  12. Looking forward to going reverse-Ilic and playing him at fucking left back.
  13. Oh aye. Cannae wait to see the list of c***s that are getting emptied. Could bullet 7 or 8 folk and be no worse off.
  14. You could probably argue that everybody has been off the boil in the whole team. One of the parts of Polworth's game when we were good was through balls to wide players to run on to. Unfortunately we don't have any of those anymore so that strikes that out of his game. Gallagher's not been on the same level, O'Donnell's a trier but he's not a revelation. Watt's probably the only one with pass marks in terms of being a link man but he's not a goalscorer as such. It's just been weird. Hopefully Graham Alexander buys everyone their own pair of Copas and we bounce back to some degree.
  15. If you'd told me 18 months ago that Liam Donnelly would be the absolute lynchpin of our entire midfield I'd have pointed and laughed at you.
  16. I know he hardly kicked a ball since ballooning his penalty against St Mirren into orbit but in terms of final ball he was streets ahead of Seedorf. Who knows what happened in the end up with him.
  17. Lets be honest here lads. We all just want a visit to Somerset Park eh?
  18. Hopefully. Two belting draws for a day out. Typical that it's the first patter draw we've had in ages and we cannae get near a stadium.
  19. Starting to wonder if the lad along the row from me is shouting "HOWWWW MAANNYYYYY TIIIIIIIIIIMES?!" at his weans any time they spill their dinner just to get his fix.
  20. I think one of the worst bits about this season is that I haven't even had the catharsis of shouting abuse at c***s. Might open the window and start shouting at the neighbours.
  21. I'm not too fussed tbh. It's the sensible outcome and just another example of how pitiful the SPFL's response to Covid has been. Mainly all this was funny because Div was making such a rip-roaring c**t of himself on Twitter.
  22. I don't tend to lose my heid very often at the football, really. However that was an exceptional circumstance that merited an absolute torrent of abuse. Fortunately I was not alone in this.
