I'm not sure what the exact method of working it out is but I'm sure someone on here knows *looks at @capt_oats*. But I thought the same thing. If we were allegedly getting £400k for Hastie then Cadden must be worth more as he's been here longer?
I'd say it's a bit of both. After the very public humiliation around the McGinn saga there's no way Celtic could be seen to be losing out again because they're lowballing offers so they probably have gone in a bit high.
It won't be the biggest surprise if he does end up at Celtic by the end of the week. If he does I look forward to them trying to sweep their twitter meltdown under the carpet.
The sizzling hot takes around the wages are really quite something. I suspect the issue isn't the money itself but rather that the wage doesn't reflect someone who will start regularly. I don't know the guy but he seems like he's more interested in playing every week than picking up £6k getting a start in the league cup a few times and warming the bench. If he was entirely motivated by the cash I suspect an offer of 10x his current wage would have already seen him jump ship.
I don't see an issue with the way the club dealt with it. The statement seemed to be a case of getting ahead of the story breaking rather than having the Record spouting nonsense about it. Celtic's twitter response is, while very funny, a complete riddy on their part. The correct public response to the contract talks was for there to be no public response.
I don’t think he will end up there now. Celtic have made a total c**t of things by pissing their pants for attention so I can’t see them being happy to turn and roll out the “Welcome Turnbull” patter.
I enjoyed Let's Go. It did seem like it was a bit of a testing the water exercise but it was a chill experience just sauntering around catching stuff.
Hopefully Sword & Shield jumps into some of the stuff introduced in the later 3DS versions as well.
"The four-time Tour de France champion, 34, has suffered a fractured right femur, a broken hip, a fractured elbow and fractured ribs and lost consciousness following the crash."
That's a horrific list of injuries.
I suspect the fee is irrelevant. The fact we’ve punted our two most promising players, I appreciate they’re different scenarios, to the old firm is going to see the club take absolute pelters and tbh they deserve it.
I reckon Cadden will stay because nobody will want to stump up £600k to take him off us with him coming off the back of an injury. If he does go I suspect it'll be a cut fee and a hefty sell on.
Also in on the Richard Tait love in. He walked past me in town and I was more starstruck than I've ever been in my life.
This thread has been responsible for me binging the playoff highlights and LCD Soundsystem's back catalogue in the last 24 hours. A great time for me, personally.
I got a welcome card when I went in March which was pretty good. The trains are class and get you about no bother.
We ended up hiring bikes using the Donkey Republic app which got us about Treptower park/Kreuzberg to explore. We lucked out on the weather tbf. It was sunny all weekend.
