  1. I'd drop him because if I had to watch him deliberately shoot from another fucking corner my head would come clean off my shoulders.
  2. In a meaningless league game I'd expect that team to gub us now. If it was a cup game Robinson's shithouses would run over the top of them.
  3. Gerry Cinnamon's not my cup of tea but fair fucks to him. He's fair pulling in the crowds. Arctic Monkeys were sensational on Sunday night. Much better than they were at Primavera. Was also delighted to catch Interpol as I've wanted to see them for years. Watching it back on iPlayer today. Goodness me Matt Helders is a monster on drums.
  4. Fairly certain it was Steelmen Online because I vividly remember laughing like a drain after I read that.
  5. Fair to say my mind has been blown out my ears that someone is willing to pay this waste of space to play football.
  6. Trsnmt on Sunday, lads. Arctic Monkeys headlining, but you're an absolute sucker if you don't head in early and catch Confidence Man on the Tut's stage. Also buzzing for Interpol because I've wanted to see them for YEARS.
  7. Frear's a good player but he looks like he's got absolutely no confidence in his own ability just now. Someone needs to lock him in a room and show him highlights of himself going past people to see if he remembers how to do it.
  8. It's a hard no from me, thanks. As @thisGRAEME says, I don't have the time to sit and smash out an online game to get highly powered so it'll just be me getting a pasting. Pretty sad about it tbh because I loved Fallout 3 & 4 a lot. Some of the best bits were just wandering the wasteland yourself and discovering some absolute nonsense.
  9. He scored an absolute peach of a penalty, but I think that was about it.
  10. To be serious about him for a moment, he's just a bit shite tbh. When he signed it seemed as if he was brought in as a pacy winger/attacker which is what we needed at the time, but he never actually proved to be that quick. Together with his absolutely rotten first touch, inability to beat a man or cross a ball and his woeful throw ins he was a waste of a jersey. I'm not entirely sure what he's supposed to be as he also played through the middle where he proved to be equally rank. No harm to him, I hope he does well. But, god damn, he was absolutely honking.
  11. The boy loves a foul throw in, and possesses the worst first touch I've ever seen.
  12. I believe the term "competition winner" eventually stuck to him. Take from that what you will.
  13. Bits & pieces is a fucking atrocity and one of the worst things to happen to music ever.
  14. So keen for that as well. Really excited to see what the game looks like running on good hardware. I've got an old style 3ds and it struggled sometimes with Pokemon Sun.
  15. A 68 character roster on Smash Bros. Harder than Portland cement at the thought.
  16. Not sure I'm happy about them making an MMO tbh.
  17. I would prefer we put Newell out on loan for a while. He looks like he's blowing out his arsehole after about 5 minutes, and his entire season last year was basically just getting injured. He looks a half decent player, it would just be better to see what he can do when his ankles don't fall off or his face isn't smashed to bits.
  18. I've seen Haim twice, both at Primavera. Genuinely one of my favourite live acts in the world right now. Great performers, massive energy on stage. Unfortunately I found out they were playing here about half an hour after they finished.
  19. Primavera was a triumph again. Wildly varied line up. Highlights of it for me were The War On Drugs, Vince Staples, Arctic Monkeys and, a new one for me, Confidence Man. The latter being a surprise discovery at the Ray Ban stage and it was an excellent set. Near Eurovision levels of cheese [emoji23]. The Friday night descended in to a bit of a mess when Migos cancelled at 3 hours notice as they “missed their flight”. They tried to get Skepta in but he couldn’t get here in time and ended up on at 3am on Saturday where he knocked it clean out the park. All in all an absolutely bloody wonderful weekend.
  20. If I meet Richard Tait at Primavera you can probably just bury me in Parc Del Forum because it’s never getting any better.
  21. This interview had me giggling to myself.
  22. I cannot believe I'd forgotten about this until it was brought up on here a while ago. What an absolutely incredible turn of events that was. I can just picture the bold JB kicking in the doors and holding the place up like Dick fucking Turpin.
  23. Combining Wu Tang Clan with feudal Japan is one of the most ingenious bits of soundtracking of all time. This series is absolutely bloody wonderful.
