I reckon O'Halloran is more than likely to end up back at St Johnstone for next season. I'd rather have Ciftci back in, and then go about finding an actual LWB.

Yeah, I'm absolutely up for it. I think one of the criticisms you could level at this team is we only ever tried to play our high pressure, running over the top of teams despite the opposition. Thistle away at the start of December we lined up with a team of storming about the place, but shipped 3 goals before half time (largely due to Griffiths not having hands). The second half came around and we brought on Tanner & Bigi and proceeded to rip Thistle to bits by playing actual football but obviously we had given ourselves too much to do. It's a bit "horses for courses", obviously some games we need McHugh and Grimshaw to win headers and tackle everything, but against some teams I'd like to see us play passing football. He's obviously never going to be a Tait/Cadden/Main/Campbell level of storming around the park for 90 minutes, but if he came back 100% fit I think he'd be a superb signing.

I'm really interested to see what Nadir would be like with a Robinson pre-season in him. When you see the monsters we've produced, even with players who were here under McGhee we clearly work very hard on fitness. He seemed to spend the first half of the season out of the team and not enjoying his football, but according to that Vice interview he likes Lasley & Robinson as coaches. He's also a player who is a bit different to what we currently have. With the best will in the world we currently have a team of battering rams, I would like to see us add some cultured football next season. The end of the Accies game with Bigi & Ciftci fully taking the piss was excellent entertainment.

Not overly surprised at the announcement. Demi was rotten, I forgot Plummer existed and Luke Watt was better in theory than he ever was in practice. Get big Tommy and Nadir back though.

Deadpool 2 was great up until the last 20 minutes when I wanted to stand up and scream “OH MY GOD. END.” The mid credits scene had me laughing out loud, though.

Aye it was probably a mix of Bigi being calm on the ball, and Celtic taking their foot off the gas. McHugh is a great player for us, but lacks the pace to play against Celtic. When we play against teams that do play the ball long he wins an outrageous number of headers and he is good at breaking play up. I'm not overly upset. I had a cracking day out. Had a pre-match barbecue, was on the council lager at 11am and met a load of my pals I hadn't seen in ages.

We were absolutely shite in the first half, and a bit less shite in the second.

I think Cadden has done really well to build his game around his strengths. He's perhaps limited as a footballer, but he does have as much stamina and strength as anyone in the league and he's exploiting that. Good luck to him. I hope he gets a decent crack at it.

I love Cadds, but I'd probably have said Tait deserves the call up more.

I've listened to this through about 7 or 8 times now while I've been at work and it's not the absolute shitshow some people are declaring it. It's just a bit bland. I wouldn't have said there are any singles. It's probably an album which is greater than the sum of it's parts.

This album is very sound track like. If you dropped the vocals it would fit that purpose very well. I don’t think the album is terrible, I’m just not particularly in to lounge music.

I bought Sonic Mania out of sheer nostalgia. Hearing the Green Hill Zone music honestly took me back 20 years.
