Sammon was rapid and, as I learned when he walked past me in the Cooper Suite, he's built like a brick shithouse. Eremenko was a tremendous player in that Killie team which probably helped Sammon. Hartley was tremendous when he joined. A proper leader on the pitch, would tackle anything and scored some important goals. However never, ever forget the first half performance him & Bevis put in for the 4-4 draw against St Mirren.

I am pretty happy to see Cornelius kicking on in the team. I was worried he'd fizzle out but he absolutely knocks his pan in and more than deserves his place. Reckon Justin's been told he's getting his jotters and he'll no be the only one. However if I hear anything about improving 12-18 in the summer I'll need sedated.

Shields wasn't even the closest Motherwell player. Looked like Tierney was closer.

Slattery was great. Always wants the ball and loves being snide. We are a significantly better side with him in it. Also thought Tierney looked class when he came on. Goss winning a tackle in front of the dugouts was the biggest shock of the day, though. 100% success rate in his Motherwell career now since it's the only tackle he's ever put in.

Very, very much enjoying Elden Ring. I'd say it's more approachable than Souls/Bloodborne because you can just f**k off and do something else if you're stuck on a boss. Only about 30 hours in so far though.
