I've had this chat with a few folk now. This isn't a bad squad as such. There's some more than talented players that are good in various positions. But, like you say, Alexander appears to be doing his best to stick square pegs into round holes every Saturday afternoon meaning these players look markedly worse than they are. Shame that AGM was before this pish run of form. Would have been good to see him grilled on how watching this Motherwell team makes you want to take up something more enjoyable. Like voluntary root canal treatment or going to Silverburn on a Saturday afternoon.

Went to see The Batman last night. I enjoyed it as a detective movie but I thought as a 3 hour long film it was an odd length. Like long enough that it almost felt bloated but not long enough that you could get proper background on the main folk. Not that I want another origin story. I wonder if it would have been better/made more sense as like a 6 part TV show. True Detective: My Chemical Romance Batman Edition.

This is very much it for me as well. It's a very, very weird disconnect between the fans & the players. FWIW I do think a lot of the criticism I'm seeing at full time of certain players is bang out of order. For me this entire mess is at Graham Alexander's door to deal with.

I've watched us play some shite, shite football under some shite, shite managers but I have never enjoyed football at Motherwell less than under Alexander. Get. Him. Binned.

Been sailing about Elden Ring and it is great. Although I am a mere level 17 so I have been getting battered a fair amount. It's definitely much, much more approachable than Bloodborne or Dark Souls for a newcomer.

I think he showed that he's more than capable in the time he had last season turning us from a team in free fall to being able to churn out results. Unfortunately he appears to have now performed a perfect U-turn on that.

I have no issue with long ball football. If you set your side up to have a big centre forward to win the ball/link play, have another forward to play off him and have a midfield to sweep up any second balls then go for it. We don't do any of those things. It's hit & hope football.

Aye this is very much it for me. Mugabi's tackle is a shiter. Maybe a decade or two ago it would be seen as a good tackle but absolutely not now. It's just a big, stupid lunge. The result itself is firmly at Alexander's door, though. Another tombola line up, a baffling set of wingbacks, a midfield pairing that's never played together alone and our best player in the last 3-4 games on the bench until the 80th minute. Then he shoves Shields on in the last minute for absolutely no reason. Hibs weren't very good today. But ultimately they didn't actually need to be. Sadly GA isn't going anywhere. Which is unfortunate because the football is absolutely stinking.
