  1. Always quite enjoy the early rounds of the FA cup for this. Get to see where folk like Mark O'Brien/Craig Clay/Gavin Gunning have turned up to ruin football for some other mob.
  2. Cannae wait to hear how tHe SyStEm dOEsn'T SuiT hIm in 6 months time.
  3. Had me puzzled for a minute but I was getting my George Longs mixed up. Forgot about the keeper and thought it was the one that came on for about 30 seconds against Aberdeen to get hIs heid caved in.
  4. Dunfermline are honking. And they've got Steven Lawless signed to try and improve things so that's working well.
  5. Even for the sake of an extra body in this makes sense. Presuming O'Hara's out until March if you include getting fit, we do risk being short in midfield. I reckon Cornelius will still be involved with us despite Shaw arriving.
  6. Reminded me of that time I got food poisoning a few years back. I mean neither was brilliant but at least the girls one was aiming at a different market. The boys just made a SAGA cruise with a shit coloured logo.
  7. A guy I work with ended up making small talk with Sam Foley at a kids birthday party last year. Apparently he's a sound enough guy. I said it before but Crawford was the ultimate nearly player. Nearly make a pass. Nearly win a tackle. Nearly make an interception. Glad he's gone and there's no reality in which I need to watch him in a Motherwell shirt ever again.
  8. Given that Wright's entire plan was to go all in on Big Weird Kyle, as opposed to us getting a good keeper and bolstering the squad to get results I'm not sure overlooking Tommy Wright could be deemed utterly inexplicable after all.
  9. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/deimantas-petravicius/profil/spieler/190506 Aguilas FC in Murcia, Spain. Fair play to him getting a jolly round Spain with his hilarious lack of ability.
  10. 100% this is the case. The drop off at the end of Robinson was absolutely crippling. Basically hoping Seedorf or The Competition Winner would somehow do something. O'Hara is not a holding midfielder. We seemed to get the best out of him when he was given a free role to just storm about winning headers and battering folk. Although I'd say we've not seen that type of game from him since the 4-4 St Mirren game when he dragged us back into it. Incidentally I just stuck the highlights of that game on and I can only assume there's been some Space Jam-esque event that's turned Bevis into the Ugandan Canavarro since then.
  11. Between the inevitable absences due to Covid and the even-more-inevitable Donnelly/Slattery suspensions I'm not opposed to having another midfielder available. O'Hara's out long term, Crawford's hopefully getting binned off back to Middle Earth and I reckon Tierney will be one that's aimed at next season but will be involved this season.
  12. I liked the look of James Scott when he came through. I also would have liked if he'd hung about to see if he'd kick on. However £1 million for a guy who only scored against St Mirren was a ludicrous offer and we'd have been mental to knock it back. My pal that supports Hibs says he's been rotten, all things considered.
  13. Reckon a while down the road when this technology is widely available the PS5 will really flourish. I like mine but I would definitely say there's a lot of things aren't massive improvements on what was available on PS4. In other news, I've played through a fair amount of It Takes Two over Christmas. It is exceptionally fun.
  14. I don't think the departure of Watt leaves us entirely up shit creek, pinning all our hopes on Nicky Clark turning up with a paddle. Like I can't see us having a repeat of STRAKER DAY where we throw a load of shit at the wall and hope some of it sticks.
  15. Having watched him stink the place out in the league cup against actual part time teams I'd definitely dispute his ability now.
  16. It was definitely the system and nothing to do with him not being good enough.
  17. On the plus at least we won't have someone banging on about NFTs floating about the club.
  18. I think it's fair to say we're not being revisionist. Ultimately Watt's been a superb player for us over the piece and given us much more than we probably expected. Would I be happy if he stayed? Obviously. But I don't think we should be offering anything nonsense as a contract as this is the only time in his career he has scored regularly. If United want to risk pissing another fortune into a black hole they can go right ahead. Would think there will be discussions around a transfer fee to let him leave in January. If not I expect Watt will be lucky to make the bench for us between now and June.
  19. Lawless was not only shite at football, but also had a stinking attitude. There was always this one who got away patter about him from a section of our support so at least we can now say that's not true. I've a Thistle supporting pal loves him though.
