I suppose at the moment there is a huge connection between the club and the support and that would have been a factor. We have changed from saint boo to saint do and the fans have played a huge part in this season's success. Saturday in Paisley was a brilliant day for the team, the fans and local businesses and a day for the kids to enjoy too
It's the word 'dignity' that amuses me. I can't remember the old club or the new ever having any. In fact I can't honestly think of any other club having less.
What is it with ex old firm players and punditry? Barry Ferguson, Alex Rae and Kris Boyd for example. Thick as f**k . Is there any beginning to their talents?
These ex-oldco players offer absolutely nothing to the debate. Tom was absolutely correct when he mentioned it was only now that the new club were not competitive, that these ex-players forecast doom for the Scottish game. Enjoyed his wee remark about Rangers not managing their finances properly so were entirely to blame themselves. Completely owned Rae in a Sutton/ Fat DJ stylee [emoji41]
I get where you are coming from and agree to a certain extent but would it be alright to exclude 1st and 2nd division clubs from the league cup as they have no hope of ever winning it? Should just be a return to the European cup for me for only the winners of the league's. If it's about money then have a European league. If Man U win the champions league then it will be a joke as they only finished 6th in their league last season. Funny to see Celtic get hammered btw
Work down in Greenock and have seen more kids in Morton gear over the last few months, which hopefully translates to bigger crowds. It's the same with most teams to an extent, win more games and more fans will turn up.
