  1. 5,4,3,2,1 yep I've no comeback. To be fair, I'm nowhere near well read or philisophical enough to make it in the 90's. Shame because renting a flat with loads of cosmpopolitan friends or travelling across Europe despite seemingly having no job or money looked like great fun.

  2. For sure, working on it. I find casually quoting Kerouac and Hemmingway, smoking cigarillos and drinking stong coffee has mixed results in Edinburgh's lady rendevous areas such as the Hive or George St.

Clearly I should find a way to get to to Vienna, Paris, European commuter trains or the early 1990's.

  3. Word. Seen as he's officially stolen my chat, I thought I might steal his suave style but you really need to have an interesting proffession like 'kind of a writer' to pull of that kind of bohemian headwear.

  4. Newco? Incubator? Asset transfer? Liquidation? Whatever the final terminology Rangers and all their sycophants in the media/governing bodies settle on; let's make sure as their opponents every week, to constantly remind them what fake, franchise, stealing, cheating, resource draining, tax-dodging fucks they have and always will be.
  5. Can't believe Hawkers is stealing my lady chat and passing it off as his own work -

The last few times I've tried, it doesn't work anymore cos they think I've stolen it from a movie. Gutting.

  6. Deffo Even though it'll be a total pain in the arse, I hope it is just a simple queue job. That way you're guaranteed one if you're willing to make the effort. If there's any random selection/luck involved I will be truly shitting myself. If it's c***s queuing at 2am then the 'hope I get a ticket lol. Wuld b a lovly surprise for the hubby and wee Dylan and Rihanna xxlolxx' brigade will be weeded out of the process. Imagine if I'm wrong, they sell the ST's required to avoid a general sale and we lose. About 13/4k absolutely raging Hibees next season.
  7. Yep, fold out chair from TITP located As you've highlighted it's not even like every ST holder will renew before the end of this month, never mind our total ST number's nearly doubling. There will be a general sale. This will ofcourse be massively over subscribed but should fill the 'if you really want one, you'll get one' quota which will cover me and me bro. Expect many 'ooh guess what guys, ticket sales are going sooo great, better buy some more season tickets y'all' type statements in the next few weeks before about 5k end up going on sale. I mind being offered £100 for the two priority vouchers (from Dundee United at home I think?) to get tickets for the big semi. Look what happened there. People are thick.
  8. I'd say it was more like buying a friends debt from an aggressive drug dealer who plans to kill you if you don't pay the extortionate interest.
  9. That's the only morally correct thing to do but it would cost whoever undertook it tens of millions, with no chance of ever getting that back. The only way Rangers are going to emerge from this with integrity and a safe future is if someone who genuinely cares steps in and ploughs an absolute fortune in that he's willing to lose. Never going to fucking happen. What you have now is one shadowy chancer after another, applying to make a deal with a bunch of shadowy chancers, in order to buy the club from the king of shadowy chancers. They truly have sold their soul to the devil here. Option A - Cheat, bully and bribe their way out. Option B - Death. Wonder which one they'll plump for
  10. Am I completely missing something here or is this a shite bluff from Petrie? 'General sale highly unlikely.' Let's assume some people stump up for a ST between now and the semi in order to guarantee a ticket. Let's also assume that not every season ticket holder is motivated by a second ticket and/or doesn't have a spare £400 on them in a recession. I think it's highly unlikely that more than 15/16k will go in the ST priority stage. How the f**k would they shift 20k tickets with this system? Every season ticket holder renews, purchases 2 and 4 or 5,000 people sign up for ST in the next few weeks. Your maw Rod blatant shiting himself at the effects of a loss and trying to scare people into spending £450 on a cup final ticket type strategy IMO. Unless I'm missing some detail here? Just incase I am, you renewing your season ticket all Akpo?
  11. I was being vicescious ofcourse. Sure there are loads of good posters and sound people on the Hibs forums. Whenever I've looked on them in the past I just see a) way too much stuff about Hearts and b) a complete lack of humour - gunts/yams etc. Was actually on a bounce supporters bus on Saturday and it was great company. Aye and you come across as the kind of guy who produces bold claims, then proceeds to make a complete breakdown-having tit of himself when they don't happen. It's alright being optomistic when you have a back up plan of losing your shit, making excuses and calling your opponents cheats whenever it doesn't happen. As it goes I am feeling strangely good about this one. Am I doing this 'winning attitude' thing now? Does this mean we'll definately win?
  12. If you post this enough times, you may get closer to believing it. On a seperate note, I've noticed quite a few Hearts posters refer to what's been posted on Hibs forums. Genuine question, why would you sit and read a rivals messageboard? I very rarely look at Hibs forums on account of the total ballbags who post on them, never mind sit and read what fans of other clubs have to say. I'm sure I read recently that the Edinburgh derby is now so one sided it's an irrelevance. I can only assume the Hearts fans sit and study the content of Mothewell, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone forums, seen as they're so interested in the thoughts of the little old Hibs faithful?
  13. Took several weeks to watch the first few ep's but watched about 8 in the last few days Officially hooked. The bit with Tuco's uncle....
  14. Blip? Grow some nuts ffs. Definate preparing for the worst 'but, but, we're still the big team. You can't take that away from me' type post IMO. This game is huge and will have a devestating effect on the losers. Proper all chips in, winner takes all scenario.
  15. Absolute classic middle finger ned technique from the guy in the back there. Page one of the textbook stuff.
  16. Disclaimer: Long winded tickety rant reply. There's a bit more to it than that though. Hearts have carved a dominance over years and the bragging rights has gone mainly one way. This is the biggest Edinburgh derby in any living persons life time and it will completely trump everything that's come before it. No matter the outcome, Hearts will still have a better record but any chat of that will be gleefully laughed off if mentioned. Especially over the last few years the bragging rights has lost all perspective. The post Romanov era and the last 10 has left some Hearts fans seemingly unable to remember a Hibs win. Some people seem to actually think the Edinburgh derby stats are comparable to that of an old firm team or the genuinely one way fixtures like Real v Atletico. If Hearts win, that continues in awful, awful circumstances. If we win it's the biggest serving of humble pie ever. More pressure on Hearts IMO.
  17. I have no idea why but since Sunday, the more I dwell on it, the more confident I'm becoming. Every one of the recent derby pumpings I have went in supremely unconfident, and said as much on here. I'm certainly not a blind optomist when it comes to Hibs, quite the opposite in fact. Our shiteness in the last few derbies has massively flattered Hearts though, who are an average at best mid-table team. Now I know that we are worse but I just have a good feeling (I have no idea what's going on, I never do before derbies/big games). They are a better team, no doubt. They do have players that can make a mistake though and we have one or two that are pulling goals out of nowhere. Hearts have shown to want it more in every derby I can remember but I just can't comprehend that being the case this time. In terms of pride they have it all to lose and the jambo's I've spoken to aren't their usual self. They know a lifetime of fairly earned bragging rights and superiority can be undone in 90/120 minutes. They're shitting it and so will the boys in maroon next month. A long time for my attitude to change though.
  18. I'm a pretty in the know poster and I've been told old biscuity Kev had something more like this to say.. part time? Nice effort. Thousands of quid and a divorce to see Hibs lift the Holy Grail
  19. 'Try it on him?' So Riordan should have stepped 10 yards back. Got up to full speed and two footed a guy off the ball, having already been sent off. Kyle's hardman talk doesn't even make sense. That mumbling flaky fud made Riordan sound like Stephen Fry.
  20. Trust me, there will a shitload of begrudging whoever wins this.
  21. I'll sign that petition. Robbo's is a horrible place, with it's logos in the lager and air freshener in the mayo
  22. I can see McPake putting in an absolutely heroic performance at the back before Leigh Stunner picks up the ball in his own box on 95 mins and proceeds to George Weah it across the entire pitch and around Macdonald. He'll then proceed to repeat Beattie's semi final celebration (exactly the same, also infront of the Hearts fans), picking up so many retrospective bans and breach of the peace charges that he's never seen on a football pitch again. It's destiny.
