I thought it had to go to the Scottish Government due to Aberdeenshire Council objecting.

I wish it was going to be over today. Hopefully it gets fast tracked to the scottish government to make a quick decision although I can see it will be decided at the end of the year.

I don't get the criticism of him as I think he is an excellent player who in the last 18 months has been great. To think of it some of our fans wanted him never to play for Aberdeen once he announced he wasn't going to sign a new contract all because they thought he was going to Sevco. If it is true that he wants Aberdeen and St Mirren to get a fee for him rather than sign pre-contract agreement then that has to be applauded. I'm just happy he isn't going to one of our rivals like Hayes or Jack did. Tyrone did ask a lot of questions about the transfer window in the press conference - I think with McGinn signing there wouldn't be much left in the budget so a player will have leave before we can take in another player. Can't see any club come in for Nicky Maynard soon lol I do agree with you about being very light in the Centre of Midfield but I suppose we will have to take a small risk with that with our budget.

I really like Kenny McLean think we will miss him once he has gone, from October last season I thought he was excellent. The best position for him is just behind the Striker but sadly we have a lot of quality that can play in that position. I would prefer to sell him to Norwich if they are interested and replace him with a similar standard - like others I hope he doesn't go to Rangers as that will improve them. Craig Storie what a let down after his performance against Celtic a few years ago I thought he had a chance of being a first team regular. There was rumours of having a bad attitude in training and it doesn't look good that Aberdeen have released him 6 months before his contract has ended. I hope the lad has a look at others at himself and then look at former Aberdeen players like Cammy Smith who have done well.

I should have added that I noticed a few main stand boxes not getting used in the Friday night games.
