The one thing our manager won't stand for is players that don't train to the levels he expects as we know with other players he never played them if they had a bad attitude. He was so bad against Hamilton and hasn't been seen since - not sure if he is called up for Iceland squad but if not then I hope the manager plays him in the Under 20s against Inverness to give him game time. I think one of the problems we have at the moment is we are missing a defensive midfield player like Jack to protecting the defence.

Got to question the attendances as well, best fitba I've Aberdeen play in 30 years yet crowds are down by 1000. Even if McInnes doesn't go to Sunderland he may leave club because his budget is not going to increase with less crowds.

Has played upfront a few times for us under McInnes mostly at the start of his management but also a few times last season when Rooney was injured and Church wasn't good enough. I think he is too lightweight upfront on his own

If you want to go with stats then McGinn has only 4 assists in 2016, that is very poor for a wide player. We all know Rooney limitations outside the box but you can't ignore a 1 goal in 2 games (includes subs appearances). Yes i'm wrong saying he's very average player but he's not the wonder player some are making out and as a wide player hasn't had a good 2016 in terms of assists although scored a few (I Don't think he is good enough to be a striker upfront alone)

Don't think Aberdeen should break the bank on a very average player like McGinn. McGinn gives us balance in the team but at times he looks like he isn't giving 100% and for the majority of this season has been dreadful. I always thought he would be looking at a last big move but would be surprised if he picked Hearts over Aberdeen as their turnover isn't near Aberdeen and there is a doubt over new management team going with the performance against Aberdeen. I'm more concerned at losing our 3 best players on this transfer window (Hayes, Rooney or Lewis)

Not the best transfer window for us but with us out of the cups it would mean basically a team from 4th downwards to have a great run for us to finish outside a european place. On a positive note its not a massive disaster having a thin squad due to our league positive but we will now have to relay on youth to help us if we get a few injuries. Should add Jonny Hayes can play as full back so have 6 players that can play at the back although you never know we might sign someone that has been released from a club.

Don't agree with that this is Derek biggest test, we made a lot of signing in his first full season including changing the centre of midfield which had Hughes and Rae in it replacing them with Robson and flood. It is a continued improvement at the moment just making squad stronger and hopefully a few youth come through. This season compared to last season we are 1 point better off but we do need a few signing to strengthen squad.
