  1. From memory there was 2,400 tickets sold for the Clyde side. Some had not been to a Clyde game before or since...........
  2. The schism began many years ago when a debate over red or white socks for the home kit got right out of hand.
  3. Assuming I agree with the fact it is the club's mistake then that is where the punishment should be focused. However, there is an argument that he points deduction harms the players and supporters much more than anyone else, and they had and have no control over administration. That part of it is what people will view as 'unfair'. It may be one of the few options open to the authorities, but that does not make it palatable to fans, players & staff - the latter two whose earnings may be impacted.
  4. There would be uproar if they reversed the decision after the P'head game as that would mean several weeks had passed. Imagine a home win followed by the points reversal. Clyde go top with few games left and Peterhead and Albion R go ballistic at having no time left to react. Never going to happen to avoid a. The above b. embarrassing the original decision maker They are probably hoping P'head are 12 points clear with 3 games left, so decision either way is a moot point.
  5. Good example was when the guy in front with his wife continued standing after the anthems etc. Game kicked off and all we could see was hit fat arse in his kilt. I asked him to sit down and unbelievably his reply was 'the game has just started'. So what in his view was a sensible time to take your seat? 3 minutes in, 10 minutes, half time? My kid was worried it was going to develop into an argument so his day out was impacted. Guy couldn't care less, as long as he was getting to do what he wanted.
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47697708 Never a truer word. Indescribably poor and amateurish organisation throwing their weight around against smaller Scottish clubs whilst Rome burns ( mixing my metaphors) Meanwhile - the Old Firm will again behave wonderfully this weekend.
  7. It is a bit like Brexit - there is no easy solution. The SFA will not allow a change of governance as that would mean they may get voted out. Disillusionment will continue, players will pull out more often and so it descends. There is no one waiting in the wings to take over. And so it goes on. A few years ago I was a bit miffed at Davie Provan discussing Clyde on radio and saying it was a shame but just not enough people cared anymore about the club. He was right. The national team are going the same way just 20 years later.
  8. This. Stopped going 3 years ago after several spoiled games in the family section with people pished out their heads, standing up (kids can't see), swearing non-stop and at the same time having to cough up more to watch drivel for the privilege. Not to mention rushing away early from work to get there when not on a Saturday. I was a club member from the early nineties but I cannot see myself going back. Ever. Did not even watch the games in the last week on TV.
  9. Does said individual's weight help to make your point? Or have you just picked up on a common way of embarrassing people and used it as well? I know weightist isn't a PC issue just yet (I'm sure its time will come) , but for me it is also a form of bullying
  10. Impossible for you to judge my emotional state, and it isn't anger. You are just becoming more random in your deflection now.
  11. 1. Where he/she recognises he was wrong to say what he did and apologises 2. Where he/she actively works in the community to change attitudes 3. Where he/she donates his/her free time to help those less fortunate than most 4. Where he/she does I don't know how many other very good things all of which dwarf their initial wrong-doing Like I said, you are not very good at this. Take your sensitivities & the need to share them with the world elsewhere.
  12. Pathetic attempt at avoiding the wider debate. Away and crawl back to some other place you can attempt to troll. Maybe a forum for average intelligence individuals might work more effectively.
  13. That is only one part of the question. Can you answer the other part please.
  14. I haven't given an opinion so you can leave that out. I asked you a question which you have not fully answered.
  15. Is it just when Omar is playing that Clyde fans should avoid supporting Love, or should they actually avoid supporting him at any time? If it is the latter, then should all fans avoid support for all players who have said and done things that they should not have in the past?
  16. So, Clyde fans supported one of their own players and An opposition player admitted in the heat of the game he did things he should not have & said things he should not have. I can see how we are guilty there ( again).
  17. We had contacted the sfa to ask if he was eligible on the friday and there administrive error led to a replay Did they fine themselves or sack anyone?
  18. Sheer volume? Either they are all cheats or the guidance is unclear. Which is it?
  19. Only 2 things matter now. 1. The club finds a way to motivate all involved to drag this out the shit and win a play off. Not that easy and we will need some serious efforts. 2. The club then get around to reviewing who does what and how is it checked when dealing with anything to do with the authorities. Frankly I am just scunnered with it all.
  20. Stirling at 16/5 to win and 13/5 the draw Put £5 on one of them and give the profit to the club. If neither come in we win anyway.
  21. I think the idea that anyone else in the squad brings to the team what DGW brings is optimistic. Not just his goals, but his hold up play, his impact on the opposition who frequently double up on him leaving space elsewhere, and the positive confidence effect of just being on the pitch in our colours has on his team mates. I hope I am wrong, but I can see a few low scoring games from us over the period he is out.
