    And long may it continue.

Are you pair  the Dumfries clowns ?

Open your eyes Queens are shite.

Full time and you struggle to rise above wee wee Annan.

Any neutral pundit would say we we were robbed last week.

Apart from Falkirk & Hamilton nothing between the rest really.

  2. Trying to be objective here,

Annan gave their usual customary start to the opposition under 10 mins - are wee just nice people or F---en uless at defending.

Half an hour we are back in the game Tommy Goss through on goal, brought down, penalty - last defender he should have walked ( then again refs don't like the wee team !)

End of 1st half we're attacking - counter attack  2- .Hi very clinical finish take nothing away from it.

10 mins in to 2nd half  a very very soft penalty 3-1.

Annan bring on Garrity & Graham - too much too late , get a consolation penalty.

Anyway Hoppys Bar spot on ,full o friendly Hibees.

    Armenia?

Believe it or no guys I stayed the Hamilton Halls when I was at Glasgow Tech in 1980.

My first car was a wee  yellow escort which I couldnae get started 1 night - my saviour was a wee guy in the halls from Armenia ! I hadn't a Fucken clue where Armenia was but I'll never forget it- near Russia & Iran, always said I would go.

  4. The way I see it you Queens boys no too happy wi big Marv or your start to the season ( yip only 1 point ahead of little Annan). No chance of winning the league now before Falkirk or Hamilton.

    So playoffs ?

Accept you have had loads of injuries - as did Annan at start of season.

Think it will be a very close game next Sat.

Hope Murphy plays Garrity ( Morton loanee) & Kai Nugent (Carlisle loanee) - boys with loads o pace and very direct.

Lets have a good drink regardless.

  5. A very professional and clinical performance from Accies , never gave Annan a minute, pressed them all the time- 1st half we were OK- doesn't help losing a goal in 2 minutes but then again a Friday night maybe no the best for a part time team with boys having worked during the day.No excuses tho the superior team won.

Gonna be a very close 2 horse race with Falkirk to decide the champions.

Sadly modern Managers have got supporters brainwashed into thinking that playing two up top is some cavalier attacking strategy. In Diddy football it should be a pre-requisite- it is not even that attacking. You still have EIGHT outfield players in deeper positions to combat the opposition. How many do you want behind the ball? FT Players should have enough football intelligence to be flexible to move into different positions depending on how the game is going. You talk about 5v4 in midfield as if players are in a straight jacket and can only operate in their starting slots- good players get a feel for how the game is progressing and re-position accordingly. Honestly it’s madness - you are talking as if MB’s master plan is actually working - we have lost 3 out of 4 home games mostly against very modest opposition.

The best post I have seen for ages.

It explains why most of the the time football is pretty boring.

  7. Can I be honest here - the way I viewed Saturdays game - u got a lot of big bruisers.

We play a lot of good posession football - wins nout unless u get results tho

Set up very defensively which Annan did find hard to break down but u just relied on counter attacks, Sammon - although he scored the goal he has seen better days.

Heard Rice's interview after game - very fair.

  8. No ,we had our chances against Peterhead but they were deserved winners against what Murphy thought was our best team albeit the boy from Rangers James Graham ( looks a prospect) was cup tied,Garrity still injured and the young lad from Carlisle just his first game although he showed flashes of trickery and good football skills.

Should be a close game Saturday.

We're not as bad as folk perceive.
