Of course a very tough game for us boys against the supposed league favourites.
We are pretty thin on numbers certainly ,but we are definitley improving.
Held our own against Raith in our last game, without 2 of our main strikers,3 if u include Aiden going off early doors.
I know we were at home but Falkirk any better than Raith ?

1,750 attendance for a friendly pretty good, no , it is brilliant for our level.
Great Carlisle support but good for us too.
Can only but help strengthen relationships between our 2 clubs to both our benefits.
Both in the same boat - at the extremes of centralised media.

We've kept most of the team who were the 1st league 2 team to get through group stages of the League Cup.
Great camaraderie ,boys did well & that counts for a lot.
.Yeh let's get more quality for competition, improve ,move forward but lets show the full time teams we are in for the fight.

Don't know if this the right thread but I believe bottom team automatic relegation,2nd bottom in a play off - lets have a true pyramid system.

Most sensible Queens fans would want Annan in preference to Clyde for
1.greater interest.
2.financial reasons.
3.less travel for away games.
4.the Annan team consists of quite a lot of D&G & Cumbrian boys ( Border area)

Looking forward to a good Annan support on Tuesday.
All the boys looked primed ,the whole squad that is , but football is football & anything can happen.
Without being too cocky after seeing the semi final highlights against EF not really too worried.

Bearing in mind we have a lot of doonhamers in our team & majority of fans are Cresswell babies or the new D&G infirmary.

Reckon Wullie Gibson probably MOM ( how many back heel passes did he make,lol)
but Tommy Goss led the line well too , no failures in the team though.
Dumbarton keeper made a number of good saves or it would have been double figures.

In the long run yes these bigger supported & wealthier teams will overtake us but until then we live to fight again.

Cracking game,good football from both teams.
Annan did have their chances to win in the 2nd half but Fleming had no chance with that blinding shot on the counter attack at the very end.
