Anyone who has ever worked for a company about to close will understand that it is too easy too sit back and not give a toss about the job in hand or the company they work for so, given the clubs' publicly stated financial difficulties and the likelyhood of heading back to part-time status it is no surprise that the players feel demotivated but - given that they are still PROFESSIONAL footballers - you would like to think they have some self pride and would be trying to showcase their talents as such to potentially win contracts at other clubs should they be released or the club relegated ? Paco is right - sod going to these other places if we can avoid it. Only problem is those in charge of the production line clearly don't give a damn and are probably falsifying their CV's with glowing tributes to ensure employment at some other rival 'company' Message to our players: Put up a proper fight - or piss off and let others give it a go....

Its a tough call either way, The Board are damned either way it would seem. Have to commend the effort though and hope that through the next month and a bit there's enough spare cash in peoples' pockets to take up these offers or we won't see them again. The lead up to Christmas is always a horror period for clubs finances due to fans other priorities, but, the holiday season can also bring a wee surge in gates providing the weather plays ball. Fingers (and everything else) crossed huh ?

Can see what they are trying to do even if their marketing language grinds a bit. I know some are not going to like it but.... times are hard and when its this bad odd partnerships form. Good luck to them.

We plough a similar furrow - but in different fields my friend. May I humbly correct you on one point however ? In my honest and humble opnion, It is not the "..being out on the lash" that isn't so much fun any more.... it is more the fact that it takes three dreadful, nay fearful, days to recover a position of normality..... that is where the fun is lacking.

Not too sure many of our fans can get at that note - despite being kicked in the bo**ocks by our team many times this season...

Fixed that for you This league is too close from top to bottom to say where any team will be until well after christmas / new year. Letting go of your best asset stinks of defeatism and has no place in any self respecting football club.
