The Aunt Bessie's Apple Crumble and Custard pale wasn't too bad at all, pretty sweet but none the worse for that.

At £22 a dram, sadly not.

Depends on how much money you give UEFA
-
There was definitely a reason why guys like Xavi ran 13km a game, never got injured and played 70 matches a year.
-
Aye, how would UEFA know? It's still meant to be an on-pitch decision by the ref.
-
They need to stop showing it to refs with the slow-motion clips - makes any "contact" look much worse that it is. Edit - or just bin it off.

What a hit that was!

That was played at Sevilla's ground

Good work there on the booing. -
He played in the final

Sampled Victoriana a few times and always been impressed. Loch Lomond - always heard negative things about them 4/5 years ago so never really explored beyond whisky festivals and the like.

Think it was 2 games, 2 penalties conceded, one in a loss at McDiarmid Park. McLeish had a thing for duff, cultural Scandinavians - Joni Lehtonen rings a bell. Khelad Kemas didn't hang around long, scored a great volley in a heavy defeat to Livingston. Wee Tommy McLean had a few of these types in his locker - Archie Gourlay, Paul Baker, Paul Shepstone... -
Ah man, a Trigger warning needed for these claims.

Another difficulty is that small-ish shops in rural locations are quite unlikely to have the physical space and the resources to store a load of returned plastic bottles/cans/glasses, especially if pick-up is only 1 or 2 times per week. Your point about UK internal market rings true as well - I had already began to stock up on my fave English craft beers as likely they wouldn't deliver the special edition/niche cans to Scotland post DRS launch. I'll just need to drink them now. Successful DRS schemes, Germany for instance, were launched against a backdrop of no kerbside recycling, so they massively increased recycling rates there. But with kerbside recycling already in place in Scotland and relatively successful, I don't think DRS as envisaged would be that effective in increasing existing recycling rates.

I picked up a couple of cans at Good Spirit Company on Bath Street on Glasgow. Their website seems to not have it in stock any more. A quick search online shows sold out at all the top Google hits I'm afraid. If you're brave I can recommend this - https://www.northernmonk.com/products/barrel-aged-strannik-imperial-stout?_pos=2&_psq=stout&_ss=e&_v=1.0

I must admit to really enjoying Butcher's tactical foul there

Nice one. No such joy for me, did put my hat in the ring for Springbank 25 Year Old. Probably just as well I wasn't lucky. Opened a Longrow peated last night to compensate, lovely stuff.

Aye, nervous times and all but let's keep some self-respect here. -

I thought my idle musings on the re-signing of Tyler Magloire was inventive. -
I received a belated 'Secret Santa' (I know, I know) gift last week - interestingly enough it was a 70cl bottle of Speyburn's Bradan Orach. A new one on me but slightly concerning as the festive carry-on had a £10 limit. Not opened yet as want to finish off the Xmas bottles first (Ardbeg 10 and a Longrow Peated).
