  1. Has Hughes resurfaced anywhere yet, opening his heart about his time at East End?
  2. I think Townies was coined by Cowden supporters. We always just referred to you as the Pars, or sometimes something less benign.
  3. This is all so pish I'm coming round to the idea of McKinnon. What a carry on. The proverbial blind man running for a bus could have seen the bumper crop of managerial vacancies emerging, but here we are, a week after the post closed and still not completed interviews. It's 2022. If people are on holiday they can conduct Zoom meetings, to at least begin the process. We could / should have been shortlisting throughout the process and could have been interviewing too, but no. At the coo's tail and every chance we'll get shat on.
  4. It's not much better here along the A92. We have players on expiring contracts, other teams in the league are starting to renew or bring in new faces, yet we'll be into next week before we know anything. You've got a manager, we've no'!
  5. Can't say I've ever heard that one but it sounds grim. Daft laddies and all that. We sang some horrific songs too when I was a young 'un.
  6. Imagine my excitement logging in and seeing us top of the championship forum! Unfortunately when I get here we're no further forward. Any time pressed organisation will be shortlisting as they go, and not waiting until closing time to do so. There's no good reason contacts couldn't be made so that we're ready to interview yesterday and today, and for all we know, we have been. No informed press speculation eg Alan Temple adds to the anticipation. I for one am quite moist.
  7. Witches are only usually but not exclusively female. As an example, consider Davie McGurn.
  8. This. I didn't want to appear negative but if I've got company, it's not so bad.
  9. Well I think it's fair to say that name caught us out a bit. We have no objective view on how good he is, other than having a not unexpected nightmare at a car crash club - Cowdenbeath. Speaking of which, anyone going along to Central Park on Saturday?
  10. There are several reasons why you might struggle to get back up at first attempt, namely a financed Kelty, McGlynn inspired Falkirk, expertly managed Montrose and an equally desperate QoS. Much for your board to consider and no easy decisions. For a neutral it looks a great, competitive league. For those in it with aspirations, it might be a league of death.
  11. If your board do the right thing and spring this jurassic simpleton it will be fascinating to see if the media circus keeps him afloat. I fully expect to see him on Sportscene or some other, chipping in with his "wisdom" and "honesty" but he must surely be finished in the dugouts.
  12. That's cute. I'll take that as confirmation that you know you've made a c**t of it. Off you pop. X
  13. Lol. Time is a great healer Grant. Uncle Yogi says you're all in it together and you've to take your medicine (both of these several times in the one interview) so once you've slept on how much of a c**t you and your underachievers have made of things...no, hang on, you have done already. Well, the big banter boy Yogi wants to help get you back where you belong. Doesn't say where that is, but you've to roll your sleeves up, look in the mirror etc. Sounds like good advice because down there, in L1, no one can hear you scream. Cheerybyethenoooooooooo
  14. Hilarious, aye. I was going to drive over to Bonnyrigg today to give Cowden my support (I'm a Raith supporter) but found too late that it was all ticket with none available on the day or at the gate. I plan on doing the same next Saturday so thought I'd check. Some laugh, eh?
  15. You're a prime mover in regularly labelling the entire RRFC support (this Kingdom is ours) with the views of posters here. Indeed you've done it again. How do you know we were all "keen" to sign a rapist? Did you poll the entire Raith support (to use your own rhetoric, if I may)? You know fine we weren't. This is what is known as hoist by your own petard. As big Yogi says, take your medicine. Get doon and stay doon.
  16. Will the return at CP be a ticketed affair, or PATG?
  17. What shirt number does Dom Thomas prefer? Asking for a friend...
