  1. 3 exclamation marks. What an excitable wee tattie bogle you are.
  2. It was clear when he was outpaced by that mammoth from Cowdenbeath that he's lost something. Hoping he can find it again.
  3. Yeah judge Cuthbert on a single game in a competition we're not fussed about at a club in the league above us a few days after the manager's shock resignation. Really objective. Who do you think these experienced, been there before, know their stuff managers are? Look up the ladybird book of dinosaurs and start there.
  4. McGlynn doesn't strike me as the type to hold on to a cushy job rather than take a challenge. That said, I don't think it will be him, but we could do much, much worse.
  5. Biggest former player name I can think of is Damian Casalinuovo. 17 letters. Or Davie "Where's the ba'?" Sinclair at 24. Etc
  6. To claim constructive dismissal you resign and say you had no option. You claim it was the same as being dismissed.
  7. His contract will state how much notice he must give when resigning. That's his notice period to the club and is contractual. As in any business though, the business can decide to waive the notice period and tell him to go immediately. Such a decision (as is likely) could involve negotiation on how many weeks pay he's due under notice. He remains an employee of the club until his last working day, which will be mutually agreed. But I've not seen his contract, so dunno for sure.
  8. Yes John, we hear you. We'll call you when there's an update.
  9. You can't refuse a resignation. It's a contractual fact. He might withdraw the resignation but the club would have no obligation to give him his job back (so long as it wasn't deemed to have happened in the heat of the moment). I really hope they don't, else we all look bigger arsemonkeys than we do already.
  10. We know nothing of budgets and such. If you had a manager you weren't sure about and he wanted to spend the last cash you had, you might well say there's none left. I would. I have. Only to then find more down the back of the couch etc.
  11. The applicant is a current HR Director and has 25 years experience in public, private and charity sectors, big companies and small.
  12. Colin Cameron? Likely inexpensive. Not saying he's my choice - just a name that's not been flung around yet.
  13. Be as well with the fucking chuckle brothers, and one of them's deid.
  14. Disagree entirely. When filling in for the injured Thomson he was better than the fit Thomson.
  15. Actual colts would be good. Rovers v 11 young horses. I'd pay to watch that.
