Ach, it’s a pretty low risk signing all told. To me it looks like a bit of an insurance option if we can’t get Furlong back - not sure if running with Wilson as our first choice was ever a real consideration and regardless of your opinion of McGinley, to come back after so long out and expect him to play every week is a big ask.

With Danzaki and (probably) Shields away, I wonder if there’ll be more we are actively looking to ship out. Maguire is one I can’t see much of a future for, but given he was already away on loan when Kettlewell came in I wonder if he’ll get the league cup games. Probably a few in that bracket actually.
