They are idiots?
From the person who thinks Stevie Hetherington's a good player.

The strangest of all being awarding you a fictional 94th minute penalty at Edinburgh to grab a 2-2. Which, apart from being a yard outside the box and not a foul, was a brilliant decision.
I'll let you argue whether or not it was outside the box but to question whether it was an actual foul or not is a nonsense. Pulled him back after he'd rinsed him, was stupidity from the defender.

Does him and Stevens not play on the wings? If McCann and Yeats do their jobs we’d be fine. Both Stevens and Wales were subbed at HT yesterday so I see them only playing a half again next Saturday.
They did against us last time out but Wales is predominantly a striker.

Bobby Wales would have a field day against McGinn at centre back, anyone know what's wrong with Shanley?

Bisland proved today why he's not really had a sniff all season, Falkirk dafty of the week.
Frustrating throwing away a lead late on against them again but the unbeaten run remains.
MacIver at centre back next week please. Hopefully Hendo's not out for long.

I forget the exact dimensions but ones wider and the others longer. Very slight difference in actual area.
It's all about the motion in the ocean.

If Michael Mckenna does indeed sign as rumoured, it'll make the re-signing of Gary Oliver a bit baffling.

Where's Reece Lyon off to in the summer then?

A jags fan had rumoured this in January as well though seemed to think there was a chance we may get him in before the end of the January window, though that wasn’t to be and Spartans probably wanted to hold onto him for as long as possible
Currently at Spartans and I think he was in the youth team at Celtic before.
Do you rate him? Is he a central midfielder?
Attacking midfielder who can play out wide or as the 10. Came on as a sub against us in the league cup this year and looked quite lively.
He played the full game against you lot but there doesn't seem to be any highlights online of that game.
5 goals and 6 assists for him in the league this season in total but only the 1 goal and 2 assists in 2024.

Would be great to see at least one of the young lads being kept and played from the bench. The only way to learn how to cope with senior football is being on the park. We saw that with previous players but in Elvis's time they went straight in due to necessity that season.
That's why it was good to see us get them all out on loan playing first team games this season as there was no sense having them sitting on our bench doing nothing.
Ages are all as of August 2024, so still plenty of time for them to develop. I'd imagine the majority will go out on loan again. Burke & McGinley were only signed as amateurs so are out of contract this summer unless they get a modern apprenticeship or another amateur deal.
Owen Hayward (19) - Will most likely be our third choice keeper again next season having played plenty of games in the east of scotland league for Penicuik Athletic.
Max McGinley (19) - Right back who made his debut for us as a late sub against Peterhead last season, has been out on loan at Edinburgh Uni in the lowland league. 28 games this season.
Logan Sinclair (17) - Left sided centre back who also came on against Peterhead last season has been out playing with Tynecastle in the east of scotland league.
Shay Burke (18) - Big centre midfielder on loan at Drumchapel this season in the west of scotland first division. They are currently top of the league.
Scott Honeyman (18) - Right winger with 7 goals and 2 assists in 20 games for the shire in his second season running there.
Rhys Walker (18) - Left winger started off really well at Camelon scoring for fun. Assisted Lawal's goal away at Alloa earlier in the season.

U16's beat Stirling 3-0 and the U18's followed suit winning 3-1.
Dominated the ball and had plenty of chances to win more convincingly in each of the games.

Oakley and Mckenna getting themselves a goal each yesterday.

Called Reece Lyon a poor mans Liam Henderson in the January transfer thread but on today's showing I wouldn't mind him turning out in the navy blue next season. A much easier game for him given we were down to 10 men for so long but he was everywhere.

Basics of football but I suppose it needs explaining to you. Keepers make themselves available outside of the goal so that a misplaced pass won’t end up in an own goal. Hogarth did absolutely everything right. McCann played it without looking and it was completely his fault
Like it did today?
I completely get showing for the ball but not on the touchline when Mccann's that close and that central. It was Mccann's fault but if Hogarth isn't so far over he clears that.

Was it a red? I missed it
Ball bounced up, Donaldson cleared it but then his follow through was on the boys chest so you can't really complain.
10 men in that heat will be tough going, hopefully McGlynn's ready with the subs at 60 mins.

Mccann obviously should have looked before playing the pass but what the f**k was Hogarth doing standing on the touchline.

MacIver will know how important he is in this team, if anything the PFA will just spur him on to do better next season.

Morrison's is a cracker of a strike but the keeper should really have saved it as he got 2 hands on it whereas no keeper in the world was saving Ross or Lang's. Tough choice but I'm going Lang given he's a centre back pulling out a goal like that is just filthy.

This season for their time at United was a huge one regarding Glass and Mochrie. For the little chances they have had, it has been chances and neither has grasped it and made it difficult to leave them out.
Meekison for me still has time and should be allowed to stay.
Going forward I'd like the club to do what Scottish Rugby do. Identify talent at a young age and up till the age of 19/20 have them on a serious gym programme building muscle/strength/speed as a priority and from 20/21yrs old focus more on skill etc
Our young players coming through especially the technical ones just all look like wee boys
Aye Fotheringham's had a shocker of a season ae?
One of the best academies in the country and you want them on the bulk rather than the ball.

George Oakley will probably be enough for us this summer x

Rose was absolutely guff against us on Saturday and I don't remember him offering anything in the cup game we played earlier in the season.
Took his two goals well against us in the previous games but they were gifts from us as opposed to him doing anything of note.
Any murmurings of where Dowds is ending up next? Was a lazy news report in Jan/Feb linking him with Kilmarnock but I've not seen anything since then.

M.McKenna then…..
Can play as the 8 or the 10, takes a decent set piece and has goals in him but he's not really going to displace any of the starting 11 we have just now.

Noticed Ayr have just released their new home top with Oneill's for next season, anyone any idea when ours is due to go out?
