  1. 6 to me doesn't seem like a raft of new signings. Maybe a small dingy of new signings.
  2. And the opportunity to play a European game even if it is just qualification. That doesn't exactly come around too often to players at this level.
  3. Also not sure it's been posted on here yet but Mcmanus to TNS is confirmed. https://www.tnsfc.co.uk/2021/06/14/second-signing-of-the-season-as-declan-mcmanus-joins-the-new-saints/
  4. Cove away first game of the season, Clyde at home on boxing day and Queens Park away last game of the season. Just over 6 weeks till the first game, announce the signings!!!
  5. Or they are trying to cadge along on the Scotland good vibes train.
  6. With pre-season starting on Thursday we'll hopefully see another few signings in the next few days.
  7. Granted there's a lot of disgruntled fans after how we performed last season and how we've been run for the last decade but we'll still sell into the 4 figures of season tickets. Mccann was in the team of the season for a reason and at only 21 he's an excellent prospect. First of many promising signings hopefully. Rawlins has essentially chose to go it alone after the breakdown between the prospective fans group so he'll need to be a lot more involved this summer and we'll see what that brings. A new head coach in Sheerin who actually has proper experience in management and in coaching as oppose to selling cars and coaching Motherwell under 13's. A lot of wrongs to right and obviously a lot that can't be forgotten but we just need to focus on getting it right on the park this season. I just want to enjoy watching us play again.
  8. It works if you have the right players and they know their role's. Going off the signings we've made so far it looks to be a 4-2-3-1 we're going with unless Sheerin fancies Telfer and Hetherington as his midfield pairing. Most teams in this league will try bog down the midfield so if we don't play with three in the middle of the park we'll struggle to control games.
  9. We'd have had to pay Airdrie for Mccann and if rumours are to believed we'll be paying for Ruari Paton also.
  10. Cracking signing and exactly the type of player we should be handing out a 3 year deal to.
  11. Mutch Williamson New Dixon Mccann New Hetherington Morrison Telfer Mcguffie New Keena can't play up top on his own and we need some legs in beside Hetherington. Mckay's also been signed as a starter but I'd much rather see us bring in someone else.
  12. The sooner our season starts the better. Announce some ballers. Preferably ballers who can run for days.
  13. I reckon he'll be on more than 1k a week and TNS will probably be offering him even more.
  14. Exactly my point, he looks to be a carbon copy of how Mcmanus plays. Likes to run the channels, makes himself a nuisance and gets plenty of shots in. Only 20 years old as well so plenty of time to develop and his wage will be half the amount we'd have to give Mcmanus.
  15. Guaranteed to score a goal in every game against us this season.
  16. Was on his way down for talks according to the article. Surely a better option to leave his family where they are but TNS I'd imagine will be offering silly money to make moving them south an easier decision.
  17. Williamson's a huge step up from what we've had which showed in the games he played against us. Won a penalty in the first game and assisted the first in the final game. He'll hopefully be the first right back we've had since prime Kieran Duffie who can provide a threat going forward. Hetherington will hopefully give us a bit of dig in the middle of the park and as long as he's more mobile than Gary Miller he'll be a step up. Alloa fans rave about him so he must have been doing something right. Nesbitt's a bit meh but we all seen from his earlier days there's a player there. Seems to be very much like Morrison going by Morton fans opinions in that he can beat a man for fun but his final ball is lacking. Mckay I've made my thoughts known, he's a donkey. Mcguffie looks to be a straight swap for Connolly and as long as he stays fit for more than 2 games he's already an improvement. Still I'd say 6 signings to make which would have us at a squad of 20. So still plenty room for more quality. We need a left back, a young centre back, a box to box centre mid, two strikers and a back up goalkeeper capable of pushing Mutch on.
