Just all paper talk and hearsay, we've not had much leaked out the club lately as to who we're trying to sign which is a dramatic change, last season we got our pre season update from a fairly frequent poster on here who'd bumped into our then chairman in Tesco.

My mate caught this one of him on Portobello beach early this morning.

One of the only players we were disappointed about leaving, tends to go missing in some games but on his day he's a brilliant player. We stupidly had him trying to do it all last season instead of getting him further up the park where he can actually affect the game. Still managed 5 goals and 8 assists for our shit mob last season so I'm quite interested to see where he ends up next. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't end up at an upper championship team as he's definitely capable of that level. I don't think he's a direct replacement for Spencer as is he not more of a deep lying ball winner? But he'd definitely improve your team.

I also hope it's a drive through job, as Queens Park are ground sharing with Stenny now so their sugar daddy might hijack the meeting and buy a f**k load of the timbits to sweeten the deal.

I reckon he's been on 4 separate holidays since he's been in charge of us, always going on wee jaunts. Hopefully just going to meet potential players and telling his Mrs it's a holiday.

Mcglynn said in his first interview the next few weeks would define our season, we're almost on week 4 since said interview and preseason starts next week. My optimism's building but we still need a good few players in and out before I start to get excited about this season. Mcglynn will be doing his best to offload the majority of the leftovers from last season so hopefully he manages to do so.

Well if true I'm happy with that as he's definitely not worth over 1k a week. Henderson's a good signing especially getting him to drop down a league, Donaldson I'm more on the fence with but I like the fact the scum were raging he wasn't staying there especially considering they've just been relegated, he must've shown something. PJ's proved he's got what it takes to be a good keeper at this level and I reckon we'll most likely see another keeper in to challenge him for the starting jersey. I'm sure someone said the players were due back for preseason next week so we'll hopefully see a few more signings before then

Torn between whether I want the 30 goals a season striker next or the centre midfielder who runs through brick walls on his holidays for fun.

I don't think it necessarily means that, our budgets will most likely be on a par. There could be a multitude of different reasons he's opted to go for the scum, they may be making him captain.

Yeah definitely need another centre back in with Watson out injured for most of the season but Benedictus would have been on a decent wage so I'd quite happily see us bring in a loan instead.

I like Innes Murray and he's just been released from Hibs along with Sean Mackie.

We've signed PJ Morrison after his release from Motherwell.

I'd imagine he's on much less of a wage though.

Happy enough with PJ could have done with an experienced keeper but that may still come. Looked a good prospect when he was previously with us. Give us more!

Exactly, most decisions will most likely be where can we get the same service but cheaper so we can use that saving where it actually makes a difference, the first team squad.

I'm not going tonight purely because I don't have any questions other than, who you signing next super John? Quite happy with how the behind the scenes situation is heading, as I believe it's going in the right direction with the club being much more transparent on the things that should be getting communicated to fans and as much as it pains me to say the complete the opposite when it comes to who we're signing next as the lack of leaks should hopefully mean we get a few more over the line. I will however look forward to coming on here to read people's summaries of the two sessions.
