Just very unlucky with the injury he sustained at us as he was captaining the Norwich U23's before his loan to us. He's in that Lincoln team every week and I saw reports the other day linking him with a return to Scotland with Aberdeen, as I think he's out of contract this summer. Terrific player who was hard as nails for his actual build. Used to run rings round players at youth levels.

So Spencer as the sitter in the diamond then? Surprised Telfer's not been retained to play as the 10, he maybe had better offers. Our current fullbacks Williamson and Mccann are better going forward than they are defensively but I hate the 5 at the back especially in this league.

Obviously we need to strengthen all over the park but the most difficult position to recruit is a striker and given our only options at the moment are Malcolm and Wilson hopefully Mcglynn gets one tied up straight away.

Physicality isn't just about height, it should help obviously but just ask Tom Taiwo, Mark Millar or even Hagi if you will. McCann loses a few headers because of his height but I can't say i've ever seen him as lightweight, doesn't really get pushed around just targeted for long balls from time to time. Williamson's 6ft odds and loses more headers and tackles than McCann so i'm not buying that taller is better.

We'd have to confirm with Raith fans but I'm sure Mcglynn loves himself a 4-2-3-1. As unpopular as it is I reckon Hetherington will be given a shot this season under Mcglynn even if it is just as back up. Mccann as well will be back in. Williamson may well be moved on as he's horrendous defensively, mentioned it before but if there aren't any takers for him I'd like to see him move one up as he's got a good delivery on him. My memories of Mcglynn is him always doing well with his loan signings. Steven Mclean scoring the goal against us in the covid curtailed season, Jamie Walker in his early Raith Rovers days, Hendry from Celtic.

3 assists in 35 league games for Tumilty this season. 2 assists in 22 league games for Williamson. Only caveat being the info came from Transfermarkt.

Decent going forward, absolute hopeless defensively. That hopeless it genuinely looks like he isn't even trying to defend.
