We've signed 5 new players you pleb. 3 in the last week so of course we're going to be a bit disjointed. I completely get Jacobs not starting today for squad harmony but if he doesn't start next week Rennie's in trouble, . Nesbitt's never up for any game we have a battle on our hands and the fact he keeps getting the captain's armband is embarrassing. Should have scored 5 minutes in with his pathetic header and also spurned an easy pass into Dowds in the first half by putting too much on it. He's obviously got talent but as soon as it gets difficult he disappears. Extremely disappointed Rennie didn't even attempt to change the 3-5-2 today, even when Morrison came on Dowds seemed to drop into the 10 position which is just daft. I hope that kind of naivety isn't going to continue in his reign as Montrose had us completely sussed today and he did f**k all to try change that. Could tell they'd worked all week on countering our 3-5-2.

Considering Mills had to play right back and centre back today I don't think he done too badly. Should have shown Lyons down the outside for the first but other than that he was relatively solid. When the ball was down Miller's side we were fucked. Jacobs looked good when he came on. Dowds was humped after 60 mins and should have been replaced. Mcguffie should never start infront of Mccann ever again lost count the number of times he got rinsed defensively. Nesbitt was piss poor also and nowhere near good enough to play in a midfield 3. It was just rank all round. Definitely think the players we've brought in are improvements though so hopefully it's just a case of time to let them bed in to see us improve.

Yet another manager who refuses to change the formation when it's clearly not working. Fucking useless.

Well it could be 4-4 at half time. Both defences looking ropey as anything. Gary Miller is enfuriating. Mills really should have shown Lyons down the line for the first goal but Lyons done very well to be fair to him.

Disappointed we've not seen a centre midfielder in today as we badly need at least one in. Tomorrow's starting line up's going to be very interesting indeed.

Gary Miller, Alston, Hetherington, Tidser. All immobile and got run over the top of in this league. Even Gomis who was very mobile for his age was only good for 50 mins before us having to make a change. Craig will improve things and I hope he goes on to prove me wrong but he's not the sole solution to us getting dominated in the middle of the park.

Sneddon must have got a 3 year deal given the announcement says 'we're looking forward to welcoming you back in the summer'

Missed out us winning our momentous and record breaking 4th Challenge cup. We also played in Europe so it's not that big a deal.

Can only blame that one on Yogi being an absolute fud muffin. It's time for him to come home.

Can't see Dixon being ready for this one Rennie's said in the last two interviews as soon as his casts off he's good to go as he's still been training with the team. Given he played against Dunfermline in the bounce match I'd imagine his casts off so we should see him in the squad at least.

Well somebody had to make a match thread. Normally a good open game between the two teams. Feeling a bit more optimistic given we've signed a few defenders this week and hopefully we'll see a few more signings before this one as well. 2-1 Falkirk with Dowds & Kabia scoring for us and Webster to get his obligatory goal against us. @Back Post Misses what height is he? From memory he's not that big but had a decent leap on him.

It was time for Sibbald to flee the nest. He had his trial at Luton which would have brought us some money in but that didn't work out so I think after all he'd done the club were right to let him go. He's made a decent career for himself but nothing like the career we all expected from him given how talented he was as a youngster.

Still 4 loans available as well so plenty of room for manoeuvre. Two centre midfielders and a striker to finish please Mr Rennie. Craig's obviously one of the heavily rumoured centre midfielders but it would be nice to get another younger loan signing with a bit of legs in the middle of the park. If Mutch is nearly back fully fit I don't think we need another goalkeeper, can just emergency loan one in if either gets injured.

St Johnstone are probably just holding onto him as long as they can until they sign a few players themselves.

Morrison played there in the game against Clyde and he was absolutely rancid. I think one things certain Rennie will try his best to find a place for him in the starting 11 as he is one of our main threats. I'd quite like to see him as the 10 in a free role kind of like Higginbotham in the Pressley second season. Let him go cause havoc.

I'm going with the second option given nobody knows who he is. Also that option keeps the stauner well on the cards. Bring on the stauners.

Also right sided from what I can find online which should hopefully mean we have two competent right sided centre backs and two competent left sided centre backs in Mills, Watson, ATS & Dixon. Centre midfield next please Martin.
