They've only brought in Macpherson and technically he was already there given they had him on loan previous to them signing him on a pre contract.

He played a game in the challenge cup for Celtic this season which may stop him from playing with any other club this season. Out of contract in the summer but I'd imagine he'll have a fair few options.

He's what football manager would call a deep lying playmaker. Lovely left foot that he uses to spray the ball around the pitch. Also takes a decent set piece & scores the odd worldie. Probably not going to happen but i'll be frothing at the gash if it does.

And missed an absolute sitter in that game too. He makes himself about 3+ chances a game and fires them all straight down the goalkeepers puss.

It's not absurd for players to be recalled then loaned out to another team. Could be we're signing him from Celtic on a permanent deal. Unlikely but you never know.

Luca Connell would be an excellent signing but it's a no from me on Simon Murray. Proper workhouse and an absolute nuisance for defences but he can't finish to save himself which is why he's still at this level.

At this stage I don't even class it as him losing them as he doesn't even compete.

I think a lot of us can agree on that. He then however went on to finish 2nd with Dundee United & then won the league the following year with them so I'm happy to admit I was wrong on that one and even happier to see him back at our club.

What would the other one be called? Again asking for a friend.

When we announce a fee people moan about us letting other clubs know we have money to burn, when we say it's a contract termination people moan about us not getting a fee. Can't really win there. Hopefully the monies put to good use. Maybe get us another 2 signings.
