Right footed but given his first touch is a pass it'll be hard to tell which foot he kicks with. He was wrotten in the limited opportunities he had with us so i've not really got anything positive to say for you unfortunately.

He's maybe been injured or out with covid. He was on the bench for the east fife game then hasn't been in a squad since.

Mcdaid doesn't really fit into Rennie's way of playing as there's no way he's a wing back. I'd imagine we're paying a fair bit of his wage too so I'd hope he's popped back to Dundee which leaves us with Ruth being the only loan left. Fox is out of contract in the summer so be interesting to see if that ones a permanent transfer or a loan.

12 games and 4 goals for Ruth in the league so 1 in every 3 games. Keena's 5 goals in 19 games so basically 1 in every 4 games then Dowds is 8 goals in 18 games thanks to his hatrick at the weekend. Ruth's only just turned 20 and is a lot better than what people on here give him credit for. Be interesting to see what Rennie thinks of him or even how he performs with a partner like Dowds upfront.

Hopefully a few signings today so they get a few days training before the Airdrie game and a bit of clarity on what's happening with Ruth & Mcdaid.

Disappointing but not surprising given Holt hired him and they seemed from the outside to be best buddies.

He's out of contract in the summer but I'd imagine he'll have better offers than us. I doubt they'll look at moving him on just now as well with Griffiths & Cumdog rumoured to be leaving. Would be happy enough with that. Lewis Neilson is also out of contract in the summer, would be worth keeping an eye on that situation if they don't fancy him in the second half of the season.

You must know something we don't about incoming defenders as there's no way we're keeping a clean sheet with Mckay & Hall at the helm.

Of those 32 games he only started 12 and if I remember correctly he was mainly deployed as a winger with Ross County so it's not exactly a fair comparison. 9 goals in 27 games for Dunfermline in the league last season. Reilly won't get 9 goals.

I think the deciding factor's more likely to be how many thousands Clyde want. If rumours are to be believed on here then we've not offered enough so hopefully we're now looking elsewhere. 315 members is still very low considering we had around 1000 people pledging to contribute before the Mark Campbell fiasco. What are people waiting on? Holt's gone, we've got an academy on it's way back and we've got a new management team looking to turn the on field mess around.

Rennie & Miller take note. On a serious note I have no idea why he's playing at this level. Out of contract in the summer so surely he'll be keen to continue playing regularly with you lot to put himself in with the best chance of getting a decent deal higher up the leagues.

If we've not signed a centre back by next week then it's an absolute certainty we'll concede but if we've not signed a centre midfielder by next week then we'll definitely not win. Mcinroy & Mccabe absolutely ran the show at TFS earlier this season in the middle of the park so for me it's essential we have that sorted before this game. Our change in formation should see us get further up the park than we managed in that dry humping of a game but we'll lose if we don't compete in the middle of the park.

Said it before but by god what a difference one game makes to peoples opinions on here. Nobody was overly bothered about Dowds leaving in August and now we don't need another striker as prime Drogba is back. We most certainly need another striker. Hopefully Rennie can move a few on in the next few weeks as well as bringing a few in as Wilson & Ompreon are just a waste of a jersey. Very interested to see what happens with Ruth but even if he stays I'd hope to see us sign another striker especially as Rennie fancies the two upfront. He's clearly sticking with the 3-4-1-2 so we need a new right sided centre back and hopefully Dixon's not out for much longer. A centre midfielder is also a priority to keep Hetherington and Miller out the team. Surprised about us looking for a new goalkeeper but Holt Jr may have been punted along with his dad and Mutch may be out for longer than expected. Can't help to have them both training with an experienced keeper like Scott Fox if that rumour does come to fruition. Rennie's system doesn't suit Morrison which is why he's flung him upfront but he'll need to learn quickly if he's going to keep his place in the team as he missed a fair few chances yesterday. Obviously quality over quantity but I don't think 5/6 signings in January is unreasonable especially as some will be loans.

Great to see all the players also hated Holt the only man I know in Falkirk that didn't was Gary Deans. Brilliant start back for Dowds and as Rocco's already said considering how we've treated him in his year and a half at our club I'm not surprised he's not over the moon to be back but if he keeps playing and scoring then it'll be a completely different story. Rennie comes across as someone who's going to try his best not to say a single negative thing about his team in order to try keep them as confident as he can. Talking about how we have excellent players there already but we need a few in to help the excellent players. It's a very officey management way of going about things but having listened to his podcast that was posted on here he did say he uses his experience in business in his footballing management life. Not getting too carried away as it was Dumbarton, who we've already scudded this season under Sheerin but good to see us finally scoring some goals. A few signings next week to help our excellent players would do nicely.

Miller's piece in the herald talking about how targets are close and identifying Telfer needs to be running things in the middle of the park is promising. Although he did mention that we're going to need Wilson & Dowds hopefully that was just him looking for squad unity as we can't be relying on Wilson.
