  1. Personally I agree with you but it's exactly what will happen if Liam Craig does actually sign. We need some energy in there, someone who doesn't struggle going box to box. If we do manage to sign one I'd move Telfer on one into the 10. Mutch Williamson Mills Watson Dixon Mccann Jacobs New Telfer Dowds Kabia
  2. Are we restricted to domestic loans or are we allowed to sign players on loan from English clubs this month?
  3. So what you're saying is the team who are 6th in the third division of scottish football signed two fringe players from a Scottish Premiership club, a free agent who was again most recently in the Scottish Premiership, another free agent who was only available due to a bust up with his previous championship club and a promising young defender who regularly captained the u23 & u18 side for his english championship club? We'll also not be done, there'll be a few more signings yet.
  4. So we've brought 5 players in and 5 players have gone out. On the whole the players we've brought in so far are better than what we had but some key areas still don't seem to have been addressed. We obviously still have space to bring in another 3 loans so lets hope someone decent falls out of favour in the premiership before the end of February. The two goals we lost on Saturday were poor but I reckon the defence is in a much better place with the signings Rennie has made. Mutch & Dixon coming back will also be a boost. It's been glaringly obvious for years we've been missing a bit of legs in the middle of the park and we've definitely not plugged that gap as of yet. Jacobs will be a good addition but we still need somebody else in there especially with us playing the 3. We play with two upfront under Rennie but now only have Dowds, Kabia & an out of position Morrison as our options upfront. In ATS Mills Watson Jacobs Kabia Out Hall Krasniqi Mcdaid Ruth Keena
  5. Raith Rovers have just announced the signing of David Goodwillie
  6. Can we still register free agents after today or is it just loan signings? Mcinroy's just signed on loan with Ayr for the rest of the season.
  7. Add to the fact his main position is basically redundant in Rennie's preferred formation.
  8. Possibly getting away with it as it was the Celtic colts he played with as opposed to the Celtic first team.
  9. Nesbitt shows flashes of flair but he's nowhere near as good as Telfer especially in the middle of the park. He's even more of a shitebag than Telfer which really is an achievement in itself. Whenever we have a battle on our hands and he's in the middle of the park we're a man down. Telfer can run a game and should actually be playing further up the park than he has been this year. Telfer - 22 league games 3 goals and 5 assists Nesbitt 22 league games 2 goals and 3 assists
  10. Ben Hall has mutually terminated his contract, thank the lord. Rumoured to be off back to Northern Ireland with Linfield.
  11. Talk of Jakubiak to Thistle being part of the deal as well.
  12. Had a face like a sore arse when he came off the bench on Saturday and didn't really look his usual hungry self. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was off in a huff.
  13. Deadline day usually throws up a few twists and turns. If we can get rid of a few permanently it would be ideal. Mckay wasn't in the squad on Saturday I'm going to dream and think he's been told to go find a club daft enough to take him off our hands. Also hoping we see a few new additions ourselves today.
  14. Not for me we actually could have won the game had we took our chances. Ruth had two in the first half and one right at the end of the game. Nesbitt also rattled the bar from about 5 yards out. We dominated that game and if it hadn't been for Telfer trying to play football in his own box or Brad Mckay nodding it down to them for their second goal we may have won it. Was the one game Mcdaid actually bothered to turn up. You don't need to watch them but I can guarantee our highlights from that day were a lot longer than 4/5mins.
  15. You forgetting we drew 2-2 with Montrose under Sheerin earlier on in the season? Played a lot better that day than we did yesterday that's for sure.
  16. Or how about big hard man Dillon flinging himself to the ground in the first half inside your own penalty box? Both teams were at it all game which was probably as they realised very early on the referee was an absolute haddy.
  17. You've got to be kidding ae? Did you see Lyons swan dive in the first half? People in glass houses and all that.
  18. How many pints did you have before the game? Hall wasn't even playing. The striker ran off Gary Miller, which isn't a surprise to be honest, then Paul Watson fucked up the clearance before it fell to Johnston for Montrose. Jacobs got stuck in when he came on and actually tried to play a bit of football whilst the rest of the team were playing hoofball. Noticed he was barking at Mills & Williamson after the 1st Montrose goal as well asking the latter why he was so far up the park. 3-5-2 worked for a bit to steady us when Rennie first came in but I think it's just a hinderance now. With better players in we can afford to change back to 4 at the back. I'd be going with the below for the next game and hopefully we'll see another midfielder & striker in before it. Mutch Williamson Mills Watson ATS Morrison Telfer Jacobs Mccann Dowds Kabia
  19. If somethings not working you need to be adaptable and change it. You're not trying to tell me it was more productive to stick with the 3-5-2 for the full second half and not even muster a shot on target?
