  3. Aye was thinking that maself shuggie........ Still would have took a point before the game and it was sweeter to get it after being 2 down. Not bothered bout winning this one of ConferenceX,its all about finishing in the top 2 and getting promoted into a higher league in next season's EoSFL league system.
  4. Well done Tranent on winning the EoSFL premier !!
  5. Moneybags Darvel Football Club Incoming ....................
  6. Congratulations to BRAFC !!! Felt you had to go up this season as its only gonna get tougher in the LL with the big WoSFL clubs coming up. Well done on doing so
  7. It's been coming, they won't be the last to go down either..........
  8. 2-2 it finished at Volunteer Park This Whitburn team do not lie down,2-0 down and toiling. Got one back with 15 mins to go,then another as the game drew to its conclusion. Its In their and Syngenta's hands now. Armadale v Bo'ness Athletic next week.
  9. That's 4 former clubs of the SPFL now relegated to the LL/HL,they won't be the last............
  10. They won't be the last Cowdenbeath, regardless of money, let's be brutally honest about it.................Talbot,Clydebank,Pollok,Linlithgow Rose to name a few.
  11. All 3 promoted teams, originally from tier 5(LL+HL) now promoted up and out of League 2,pleasing.............
  12. America as you know has its fingers in a lot of countries affairs, because Ireland means something to them, then British affairs are fair game as well........
  13. America has always had an interest in Ireland. There is a big irish diaspora in North East USA and in Chicago and beyond. Lot of there politicians claim irish heritage. Back in the days and months just after the end of the American Civil War,pro irish politicians pushed Congress to provide an army to invade Ireland and liberate it from British rule. If passed it would have been a walk over, battle hardened American troops just out of the most vicious and modern war the world had ever seen, led by the famed "Irish Brigade". But that same War and all the pain that went with it,was enough to deter any thoughts of sailing across the Atlantic and kicking the British out of Ireland. Regardless they've been heavily involved ever since however in what is happening in Ireland. Joe Biden has Irish roots.........
  14. Heading thru to the "Dundee going down" party from darkest western west lothian. Apparently the ladz in C3 are having a party for the entire 90 mins, hopefully Livi replicate that on the park. This has happened before a few seasons ago and resulted in 1-0 win for an already relegated Dundee. Best of the rest and 7th place however and the players rightly applauded for this season's efforts at the end of the 90 mins.
  15. 7th place and best of the rest all but in the bag, looking forward to Sunday's "Dundee's going down party" and 7th confirmed, pleasing end to the season, especially after that late Motherwell equaliser denied us a top 6 finish.
  16. Aye time for this anomaly to be knocked on the head.....,the NCL champion should be in the Scottish end off.....
  17. Bo'ness Athletic 1 Whitburn 2 Another rollercoaster of a game served up by these 2 once again.......BA go down to ten men, then early 2nd half go 1-0 up. Whitburn get a penalty 1-1 Then get a player sent off 10v10 Last seconds the ball whipped into the BA box,Whitburn head on it and cue bedlam !! Big Derby game next weekend Armadale v Whitburn.
  18. Well done Bonnyrigg, now finish the job next week in Fife .
  19. Will take that point against our bogey team St.J No worse than a draw against St.Mirren during the week then beat championship bound Dundee, will do nicely thank you.
  20. One of the Whitburn centre half's,it was priceless lol......,funny thing was,he was outstanding after that !!!
  21. Magnificent 2nd half performance from Whitburn tonight vs Bo'ness Athletic,Whitburn played the entire 2nd half with 10 men. 0-1 down at the break and a man sent of rightly for a bad challenge on the stroke of half time, they equalised thru a great strike by Andy Thompson then went in front with a header at the back post. Great crowd for a Tuesday nite, must have been about 300 there. Onto round 2 at Bo'ness on Saturday...... BA impressed me however, particularly 1st half, very good up front and in the middle of the park. Defensively theyre a bit suspect.
